Wall Street OasisReviews of wallstreetoasis.com

I have found WSO to be an extremely useful crowd-sourced website for reading about financial careers and discussing new ideas. The site has helped me during my applications to finance jobs and provided first hand experience from those in my shoes, and more experienced professionals on how to thrive in this space. In addition, there are many highly entertaining (sometimes satirical) posts which help to lighten the mood. 10/10 would recommend.

Very insightful platform for young Wall Street professionals.

Great platform to increase your knowledge of the financial industry.

I'll be honest, WSO was by far the most helpful "mentor" I had throughout my IB recruitment process. The anonymity and community which the site has developed is second to none in the finance community and is the best source of gossip / relevant news in our circle (outside of maybe Litquidity). Keep doing what you're doing and keep to your principles because as of now you are the backbone of the young IB community. A few important topics from my perspective: - Please, please, please do not add systems of identification (i.e. names, profile pictures) as this would kill the honesty currently provided on the site - Salary information is somewhat weak, maybe provide folks with an incentive to give accurate salary information (while weeding out the outdated salaries)

Mentor was very forthcoming and helpful, would recommend in a heartbeat

Real & raw all things banking! Nowhere else can you get this level of truth and volume on such breadth of topics.

Nothing particularly took stars away but the relevance of the posts to me was low since I’m pursuing a career path different than most on the site. Very interactive and fun platform however.

its an excellent site where i can get the insights of working in finance
