The work with this company was a long process, 9 months, but ended up being a humbling experience by the time it was done. I owed over $23,000 to the IRS and the IRS ended up settling for a whopping $50..... Everybody was very professional and helpful and as long as you get them what they need ASAP they will get you what you need ASAP..... THANK YOU to Cynthia Young and all her help! Y'all are awesome!

Initially, I thought this was my only option for tax relief. I found that months went by with no activity at all but I had to pay the same amount each month even for months at a time with no movement towards resolution. I ended up paying more than I owed the IRS to Wall & Associates and this was MONTHS after I told them this repeatedly that I needed to complete and resolve the matter. My case in the end cost me, $6,500.00 to Wall and Associates and my original debt was $6,627.00. This cost doesn't include the $3,195.00 that the IRS collected from my tax refunds. I will never recommend this company to anyone I know because I wouldn't wish this on anyone, friend or foe. Paying the IRS directly in monthly payments for even 3 yrs would have cost me less money.

Great people to work with, but they need to figure out how to get all paperwork sent to them directly from the IRS and STATE TAX people sent directly to them would save lot time, so there would be less down time. Thank you, Ted Pilon

After owing Federal and Maryland State taxes for FY 2014 totaling ~38K, my wife and I decided to look into receiving qualified help to look at any available options in order to ease the burden of this immense amount. After a consultation with a Wall & Associates representative, we were told that we could have a significant reduction in the amount owed (~25k) by signing on with the firm. After some research and seeing no negative reports, we agreed. The initial hiring fee was 4K with a monthly amount of $500/month due while our case was being looked into. It turned out to be a huge mistake. After several months we were told that our options were limited due to the our income and debt ratios and that we would not qualify for any of the possible reduction plans available. The end results were nothing we couldn't have initially negotiated with the IRS and Maryland State ourselves. For the Federal taxes we ended up with a payment plan of 72 months and the IRS would drop the late penalty fees, which we would never have incurred anyways had we negotiated ourselves in the first place. For the Maryland State taxes, we had to take out a loan from our IRS savings in order to fulfill the exact amount we owed in the first place. Once again the late fees were dropped, but only after we called the firm to find out a status. This was rather troubling since we had to initiate the call only to realize we had one day left before the State's mandated due date. We also were instructed to make the payment in person. After waiting an hour to make the payment in person we found out that we could easily have made the payment on-line. So, we were misinformed about this procedure. The bottom line is that we spent $7,500 for Wall & Associates assistance, plus dozens of faxes and phone calls in order to save nothing rather get even further in debt. What makes it more frustrating is that my wife is retired and on a fixed income with the 401K money that was supposed to be utilized for helping our grandchildren through college, instead went to a law firm and essentially gone forever in the wind. My suggestion to the firm is to have better qualified sales representatives who actually have a clue about what tax savings plans may or may not help the customer instead of preying on already fiscally strapped families. The only saving grace for this review is that all contact with the firm was consistently professional and courteous, but for $7,500 one should expect more. Our hope is that someone will actually read this and learn from our mistake before they potentially reach out to what seems to be a greener pasture when it is actually mud. In the end we can only blame ourselves and limp away from the scam.

I am upset that there isn't a record of exactly what tasks are heing done on my account. We just got charged $350 per month. Communication from your office was sporadic at best. The final straw was to receive an email with a copy of an invoice for $350 with no explanation of the charges after it was said that you were just waiting for IRS to release the lien. It would be nice if your staff answered emails as quickly as Mr. Yates sends dunning letters.
