Walks of ItalyReviews of walksofitaly.com

We had an incredible experience with Walks during our trip to Italy. We did multiple tours and they were all great. All three guides were incredibly knowledgeable and also personable. Having a guide who knew how to navigate us to the best places and help explain to us what we were looking at made such a difference at huge places like Pompeii and the Vatican. I’m so glad we came across the company. We absolutely recommend them and will always check for Walks tour availability in future trips. Already looking into options for our upcoming trip to the UK!

A great guide person, but the tour itself is a lie, there is nothing pristine about it, the Vatican nowadays is a shitshow, 30 000 people a day, you skipped that fact

Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend. We’ve done a few different tours and have loved each one.

I booked several tours with Walks of Italy and was very happy with all of them. I was especially happy with their customer service. I made a mistake when booking and they promptly corrected my error. Highly recommend!

Mr. G was phenomenal! He made all the info easy to understand and made it funny as well.

Great guides

Our guide for the food tour talked very softly and didn't focus his information on the entire group. He didn't seem very enthusiastic about sharing what makes Florentine food special. We made several stops and the Negroni cocktail stop, wine window, and wine and appetizer stops were all good. The dinner stop for Florentine steak was not. We got very little background on the Florentine steak and the actual meat was very tough. Thankfully, this did not put us off and we tried Florentine steak in Sienna and had a very good experience. At the dinner restaurant, we met up with another group on the same tour and found out lots of interesting information from their guide.

The groups were too large. The attendant did not know her theology to explain the art in the Vatican . The ear pieces were not effective as we weren’t able to hear due to the large number of people. Finally, we were not able to go into st Peter’s Basilica even though it was part of the tour.
