Enjoyed our tour guide's expert knowledge. i think the tour was probably 20-25 minutes too long in the Doge's palace; but all in all, was a good experience and would recommend!

Our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. We never had a problem finding our guides as Walks of Italy always had someone with a green card to identify themselves. Our guide at the Vatican was Frank. He had a tremendous amount of information about the history of the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Our food tour was also an amazing experience. Juliana was from the same area as the restaurants we visited and so had a lot of great information and recommendations. We also took tours with Viator who never identified themselves. In fact, we missed a tour because we couldn’t identify the guide. And no other guide (from other companies) could help us identify the guide. I would use Walks of Italy again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

My wife and I loved the VIP Venice Boat Tour with Grand Canal. Our guide was fantastic and amiable. She gave us unique insights into the various neighborhoods/sections of Venice, historical storytelling, and current event gossip (Bezos hosted his wedding in Venice three weeks earlier). She was a local and had great food and event recommendations. The boat was nice, and the weather was perfect (not sure if Walks can take credit for that). The only drawback, and the reasons I subtracted the star is their hardware. The headphones sucked, they cut out often, and we would lose reception often. Thankfully, I was sitting next to her, and I just decided to lose the earpiece all together. Once she moved to the back of the boat - I had to deal with missing large swaths of the conversation. Kind of a bummer - but it's tough to get upset when you're on a boat in arguably one of the most unique cities in Europe and possible the world.

Giuletta was excellent… wonderful historical knowledge and snippets of inside stories… even though the Vatican Museums were crowded, she knew the best ways to get around them. I’ve visited the Vatican many times and this was an enjoyable and fascinating tour. I’m an Italian Travel Consultant and have used Walks of Italy since they began and my clients have had only positive experiences.

So fun! Great guide and so much history

Travel from Rome to Pompeii was not a good experience. The bus air conditioning did not work and the stop for a bathroom break was a dump. The tour we purchased was advertised as early entry to Pompeii but we stopped in Sorrento first so did not get early entry and it was very crowded by the time we arrived. We will never use this tour company again.

Walks of Italy tour guides were experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We used their services twice during our trip and would definitely use them again when we return. Our family highly recommends them.
