If you care about the safety of your dog look elsewhere. Using this app has been nothing but a nightmare and it is way over priced. The app malfunctions all the time so if you schedule a walk the walker may never show up and if you cancel the walker may still show up. I canceled because the customer service rep referred to my walker as "fishy" and yet the walker still showed up at my house and walked my dog when I wasn't home. The service relies heavily on the app but the app doesn't function properly. The customer support takes forever to get ahold of and they are clueless when you finally get them on the line. For the same price you could send your dog to a doggy daycare with a full day of supervision from trustworthy & trained professionals.

I loved Wag at first. But 6 months in They started to have my dog walked 30 minutes a day verses the 60 that I scheduled AND paid for in advance. I’ve reached out numerous times to rectify problem. Only to be told I’m wrong. I think I know the difference between 30 and 60 minute walks. And I certainly know the charging amount has not changed. And there is no way to shut it off once they have your credit card. BE LEARY!!!

AWFUL! While I never had the chance to have a walk with Wag walkers, the customer service experience is HORRENDOUS and would 100% tell everyone I know not to use this service. First, do not give them your cellphone number or they will harass you with text messages 24/7. Second, if you try to book a walk there will be some issue with the meet and greet. Third, they do not communicate to one another so they will charge you $30 for a walk even though they claim the "first walk is free" EVEN THOUGH the walk NEVER happened because you cancelled it. Fourth, do NOT even try to contact customer service to resolve this issue because you'll wait on hold for 30 minutes each time you call and be forced to leave a message and have it not be returned. You will also get texts from 3 different people who do not speak to one another and asked to email people but not get provided email adrdesses. Overall, I feel back for the dog walkers who work here because the customer support is SO BAD that I'm sure they will be finished soon. I'd much rather use Rover, who not only specalizes based on your dog but answers their PHONE! Extremely Disappointing- do not waste your time.

I have had the absolute worst experience with Wag. I agree with the person below: Buggy system with no support. I have a puppy, and they have put his safety in jeopardy numerous times. In fact I am writing here because when I asked the customer service rep where I could leave customer service feedback (texts can't be rated), NO ONE REPLIED TO ME. I have been waiting 2 months to hear back about an expensive vet bill I had to pay when I had a problem with a walker. It literally feels like this company is giving me the run around. The app has problems all the time, they have sent new walkers even though I requested no new walkers multiple times, when you log on to your computer vs the app on your phone it prompts you to rate and tip each walker again. While it is a great concept, I can't say I would recommend Wag because they don't value the customer.

Worst customer service. First and last walk ever. Will never used them.

THEFT, BEWARE! The first few walks were good. But then we used Wag for babysitting our pups while we were away for a night. None of our preferred walkers were available, so we booked with someone new. We trusted that Wag picked good people. However! Our wag walker, Nima Shojaei of Orange County, was not trustworthy. He stole an important item from us. The instructions we left were barely followed. What a disappointment. I still haven’t gotten into contact with Wag, they haven’t called or texted back.

No customer service. Not from the phone or text or even from the provided email they’re responding with below. Totally useless. Buggy system with no support. Avg call Time for me was more like 30 instead of the promised 2 min. And it’ll hang up on you automatically.

HUGE SECURITY RISK AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We signed up to have a regular dog walker who we met and vetted with our dog before getting a regular schedule with her. Wag has a policy where if the walker cancels they automatically pair you with a different walker, any employee/stranger, who you've never met, and give them access to your home and pet and all that is valuable. My husband and I both work sensitive jobs and security is a big factor so I never allowed a stranger to come and would cancel if our regular walker couldn't make it. WAG has NO policy that allows me to only use my regular walkers. Each time she was sick or busy they booked a random person and I would spend hours of my day trying to reach ANYONE and get them to cancel the walk. They wouldn't respond for HOURS AND HOURS. Once I had to call the stranger directly from the app because they were on their way to my house and I had to tell them to stop (an option that is not available until they are on their way). Today, someone successfully took the key I left for our regular walker and went into my home and took our dog after I'd called and texted and sent no less than 15 messages to WAG to cancel the walk. They were able to text me twice about re-booking the stranger, but failed to respond to ANY of my texts asking to cancel. This was easily the biggest violation of my privacy and security that I've ever experienced from a company, I cannot believe that it got to the point that I couldn't stop someone from entering my home because I was at work and WAG sent them there. I will be quitting WAG and seeking additional remedies. DO NOT use this company if you care about the safety and security of your home and pets. They provide zero customer support when it's most important and will grant strangers complete access to your home freely. EDIT: To address the response by WAG, I had asked more than half a dozen employees in the past to do the same thing, they had all either indicated they couldn’t or that they would put a notation on that account, similar to this response below. None of the responses had any effect, and the same issues continued occurring for the entire six months I used the company.
