Wag!Reviews of wagwalking.com

Experience was great until I got home to find my dog was unkenneled and had torn apart my apartment. I have cleaning supplies out among other things not safe for canine consumption. Definitely a bad experience overall

Walker quit without much explination. Sounded like a BS story to me. I need stability and someone I can count on. If you do also, dont use Wag.

Unacceptable Experience. Booked a sitting and the walker who came stayed 10 mins and left when it should had been for overnight.

Completely unreliable. There is no recourse when a walker cancels and they can’t find another one. My walker cancelled about thirty minutes prior to our scheduled walk. They tried to get another one. Three hours after our scheduled walk I got a notification that one would be coming an hour later. I had to leave work and take care of this myself. I was furious because it’s an animal. Not a car. They can’t wait nine hours to be walked. The customer service tried their best but they don’t have the capacity to re-route walkers for emergencies that their own walkers cause. Flawed system and unreliable.

I had booked a weekly walk for my two fur babies with the same walker for about a month and a half. After nearly every walk I received a message from her stating how much she enjoyed keeping my dogs company. I live alone and she was the only one with access to my home. I came home to find my girl not using her back leg at all. I received no message this day from my walker which I found suspicious when normally the first thing a walker would do when a dog is severely injured is contact the owner and let them know what happened. On top of that according to the route I tracked on the app that day she never stepped foot off of my property with my pets. After I got her an appointment with our vet he informed me that she needed a $2,500-$4,000 ACL surgery and she will have problems with her back knee for the rest of her life, she will be 5 in April and is far too young to be dealing with such an issue. Dealing with customer service the first week was fabulous, everyone was helpful, understanding, and professional. However as I was moved up to different departments it became impossible to get ahold of anyone. At one point I was asked if I had a camera to back up what I was insinuating. Is Wag planning on sending out a camera along with their lock boxes? I shouldn’t need a camera to have my dogs safely walked, what ever happened to my girl happened while she was in Wags care. I understand that experiences are based on the individual walker but It has now been well over a month since they last contacted me and in that time I have reached out multiple times. I haven’t even heard if they spoke to my walker about the incident, and for all I know she is still in their employment. I am completely appalled by their overall lack of professionalism moving forward with my case. Ignoring customers who have spent hundreds of dollars with their company and are experiencing major issues should be their top priority. Just one experience, but I suggest better safe than sorry with this company and to keep your babies safe.

They sent the walker to the wrong house. I received a message saying that the walker was told there was no dog. They are incompetent. They also release my personal information to the walkers without my permission. The walker had my personal cell number. Beware!!! This is not only unreliable service but will release your data to anyone.

I hired a walker through Wag that showed some erratic behavior. A few weeks later, he was on the local news being arrested for abusing dogs. A doorbell video recorded his horrible actions. If Wag does the background checks as their website states...how did this happen?!? No one has contacted me about the incident or addressed my reason for canceling Wag service. Horrible experience. After their reply-yes, please answer publicly how this walker got hired if you do background checks. He has a long police record of arrests and known to abuse animals!?!?

Three times I requested a walker and the service was cancelled
