Do not use this company !! Never applied my Groupon of $50 , either didn’t show or showed up late, walkers do not follow instructions & it took me 10 days to get someone from their company to call me back. Website directs you to email & text, which there rarely respond. When you set up a time for call back they don’t call. If you care about your pet ..... using Wags puts your pet at risk . 6/25/19 Wags asked me to email them, I did & still nothing back from them. Now they bill my credit card but didn’t use my Groupon money.

Do not ever book a dog sitting through wag! I booked a sitter a month in advance and they changed my sitter about 7 times. I finally had one girl who was assigned to me and I had a hard time contacting her and when I did she assured me that she wouldn't cancel on us last minute. But of course she did! We were already half a cross the United States when we got the message that she canceled on us! Wag NEVER found us another sitter!! They just kept sending message updates that they were looking for someone new. We were going to be away from home for a week and a half so is very important that our dog had someone to interact with so she just wasn't sitting at home alone all that time. We had to pay one of our friends to stay at our house to keep an eye on her which we don't like doing because he's not a dog person and doesn't give her the attention she needs. I really don't know what we would have done if he wasn't there to help us. Wag sucks and they've been sucking for a few months now. Next time I'm just going to go with Rover. Unfortunately this isn't the first time we've had an issue with Wag but the last time we had a sitter it went pretty well. I've complained so many times about their downhill service but they just keep giving me the excuse that things happen with every business. They should probably just fire everyone they have and either start new or not start again ever.

As someone who has been a customer and a walker for Wag! I can say that they are truly one of the most poorly run companies I have ever seen. They were extremely attentive and helpful at first but got too big, too fast, especially in NYC. Most quality walkers figure out they can make more money on their own and stop working on the Wag platform quickly so the turn over rate is very high. EDIT: After getting a generic response from Wag, only solidified they suck. I have two wonderful walkers for my dogs who I first used through the app. As soon as one of them said it was easier to text her, I deleted the app and that was that. I never had another walk go uncovered, I never had to fight for my money back when people didn’t show, I didn’t have to worry about how my dogs were treated and I didn’t need to pay Wag prices! It is really a crappy company that came from a great idea.

Honestly wish I could give zero stars. I have an 8 week only puppy, and scheduled a walk a week in advance. I was already nervous about leaving her, because I have only had her for a week and she is not used to being home alone yet. I was relying on a dog walker to take her out and give her some attention and that didn’t happen. The original walker cancelled within a couple hours of the walk, then after that I had the next two dog walkers cancel. It was already 10:40pm at this point and they do their last scheduled walks at 10:30. By the time they scheduled another dog walker (at 10:55pm) I had already left work mid shift to go take care of my puppy. It’s honestly ridiculous and irresponsible that the walkers can cancel within minutes of the walk. As someone who was really relying on a walker, I’m extremely angry about the whole experience. It caused me stress at work and made me worry about my puppy even more than I already was. Screw wag, I will never recommend this to anyone. Use a local dog walker in your neighborhood, they are more reliant and respectful about making a schedule and actually sticking to it.

I have had good experiences with walkers in between the terrible experiences, but THREE times now I have scheduled a walk, got a confirmation, then a walker never showed up. I will get texts from WAG saying they are still "processing my request" after the time my walk was supposed to start. I have had my 2 dogs completely uncared for and my young puppy pee and poop all over himself because I wasn't even warned that a walker cancelled, never came, or they couldn't schedule someone etc. One time I called when I was out of a meeting, 3 hours after a walker never showed up my house, and the customer service people seemed confused about why I was upset that no one came to walk my dogs and offered to just send someone now. Literally terrible, I'm super unhappy, my puppy who sat in his own feces and urine repeatedly while I was at work thinking he was cared for, he's super unhappy, and my 14 year old dog who has trouble holding his bladder now, and doesn't deserve to be uncomfortable and full of pee when I am gone, he is super unhappy too. If I could give them negative stars, I would. I need to know that if I schedule and pay for someone to care for my dogs, they will be cared for. VERY OCCASSIONALY something may go wrong, but this happens regularly. I only use WAG maybe 2x a week, and 3 times in less then 2 months my dogs were neglected by them. Unacceptable.

horrible company. I registered and went through the entire process and paid the $25 plus shipping for a t-shirt. (they make you do this). Got a welcome email with a link to download the dog walker app (its different then the app you use to find someone to walk your pet, its for the walkers actually looking to be pet walkers) I down loaded the app to my iPhone and when I went to use it I get an error message that this app isn't safe for iPhone. So this company is all a gimmick to get your $25. I sent emails and called their number, no one ever answers the phone and no one has responded to my emails. Don't fall for this scam company. Ill stick to Rover they are legit.

I applied to be a Wag! walker and went through their extensive screening process. I was approved as a walker, and was prompted to pay the registration fee. Upon paying, I received no further communications from the company, so I followed up with them after a few days to ask about next steps. It took several emails and phone calls before I was able to reach anyone that could actually help me, and even then, I was told that my application hadn't been approved and they would be issuing me a refund. This was contrary to previous communications I had received from them about the approval of my account, so I asked for some explanation on why I was all of a sudden not able to proceed. It has been 1.5 weeks and I still have not been able to get any response to my question, nor has my money been refunded. Their "customer service" has been completely atrocious, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We started out pretty well with the service. I have a security camera inside, so we can see the walkers as they enter. For the most part, everything was working okay. If you had an issue, it was no problem, go to the app and hit contact and you can send customer service/walker a text and get a quick response. One day, mgmt had to come in to our apt after we would be gone for the day. We shut our dogs in the bedroom, and after mgmt was done, I scheduled a walker to come over and get them out for a walk. I sent a message to please make sure the bedroom door is left open when he leaves, I don't want them locked in or out of the bedroom, one of them has terrible anxiety and we leave the TV on for him to block out some of the outside noise from neighbors. I then watch the guy shut the door. Sent another message. I got a response 5 and a half hours later from customer service - do you still need anything? Of course not, THE GUY LEFT 5 1/2 HOURS AGO. They say ok. Next 2 times I try to get ahold of them, no answer at all. Yesterday, we were going to be late, so against my better judgment, figured I would try again. Walk was rescheduled for an hour later 30 minutes before it should have happened. I chatted with them to cancel the walk and figured I would let them know how unhappy I have been with their service. My screenshot from them shows that the "Customer Support" Rep said they have been busy. -Too busy to answer my texts from 2 weeks ago? Too busy to answer a possible life-threatening message about my dog for 5 1/2 hours? I sent them a message on Facebook with my screenshots. Their reply - Looks like you've already spoken with customer support. Reach out again if you have any problems. I would rather pay someone who cares about my dogs to take care of them. Honestly, all I have wanted is for someone to sincerely apologize and accept they have not been providing me adequate care for my dogs. I suppose they think I should be grateful they didn't get them killed.
