This company is horrible. If you don’t really care if you have your dog walked....or not, then use them. They regularly don’t show up for walks. 50% of the time the walkers decide to not show at the last minute. The customer support is powerless against these schedule changes and the end result is your pet is not walked. This has happened for the last time and is what I regard a careless disregard for pet health and well being. They are too big and rely on private contractors without anyone actually in your city managing what is going on. I’d avoid this company if you care about your pet!

Hello, Im completely broken and destroyed, I hired a walker thru WAG and they lost my dog October 4, 2019 and since then all they did was flier. A dog tracker was eventually used 21 days later, well past the time the walker had any capability to find my dog. An Austin TX family went to the media and received a tracker from WAG a couple day later. Dylan Allread Vice President contacted me to inform me that they are giving up and that im on my own. I need help this is not right and I have no idea how to continue or what I can do, I need media assistance. Regret not going to the media in fear that I would be left alone. Please help me.

I had used WAG many times in a two year period and was generally very pleased. I have recently moved to a new area and can't get a dog walker to show up ever. Finally after a half a dozen failed attempts I started complaining to WAG with no response and then I demanded a refund of the $108 I had on my account from my prepayments. I had to ask 3 times over a 3 month period for the refund. Today when I asked about the refund because the $108 is missing from my account they stated they put it back on my account and there's nothing they can do about it. I've sent them copies of my statements to prove they money was not refunded and they stand by their story that it was refunded. Clearly they make money by stealing it from customers.

My profile clearly states that my dog is under 6 months. I’ve had 17 walks roughly and not one walker has ever complained. I got a walker today that showed up 1 1/2 hours late so wag canceled the walk, the late walker showed up anyway and “walked my dog”. I checked my doggy camera and she wasn’t walking my dog, she was standing in my living room on her phone. I call her and ask her to leave, which she did thankfully and she left my front door unlocked and partially open. I address all these concerns with wag and they said they walker did nothing wrong because my dog is under 6 months old and shouldn’t be walked by a dog walker!!!!!!! What???? Why was my profile even approved? Why is it an option? Why were my other dog walks approved???? Why am I... and not this scam artist dog walker, the issue here???!!! I’m horrified!!!! I’ll NEVER use wag! Again

Up until today I was a wag customer. I’ve been using it for a couple of years and the service is generally terrible. I’ve had an ongoing problem that’s recently got worse. A walker will confirm my request for a walk then either not show or cancel after the walk has supposed to start, replacement walkers do the exact same thing until it’s happened 3 times in the same day on multiple occasions. Wag support is useless as the only thing they want to do is offer 20 wag credits which aren’t enough to buy a walk and they expire before I get around to using them so it’s an empty gesture, to make matters worse after the 3rd walker canceled on me today I requested that wag stop all future walks. Later that evening when my baby was sleeping a walker I don’t expect or request rang my doorbell and woke my sleeping baby. I’m beyond disgusted with the ineptness of wag customer service support. I felt bad sending the girl away and she was apologetic but i had already walk the dog myself following the previous no shows/cancellations. I asked wag why this happens in multiple occasions over the past year but they offered no real explanation I also asked how to make a formal complaint and after the 4th time of asking I was told to do it via the “app tips and feedback” section of the app. Totally unacceptable as we all know that my complaint would be ignored in that forum. The CS agent gave the usual canned “I’m sorry you’ve experienced this” responses but I felt he was listening to respond and not listening to understand! Also, after previous no shows they continue to find replacement walkers that could take hours to confirm and then show up, unfortunately my schedule doesn’t allow me to sit in all day waiting for a dog walker that may or may not show up (I won’t give a stranger access to my home) yet if I cancel after the 3rd no show in a row on the same day they want to charge me a $10 fee....bad, bad business model, terrible customer service and most importantly the majority of the walkers are unreliable. We have never seen the same walker twice no matter if I mark them as preferred or even if they are local. I’m going back to using the local neighborhood walkers that aren’t associated with wag as they show up

I tried to walk with Wag! for months, but there were barely any walks available in my area— and I live in New York! If you’re looking to make some extra cash, look elsewhere. The ratio of walkers to dogs must be so high that it makes it impossible to land a booking. Meanwhile I paid THEM $30 for an “on boarding fee” to get my paperwork through to start walking. I’m disappointed and just ended up wasting my time/money.

Their walker canceled and they made no effort to send anyone else after I called their customer service so I had to then drive three hours home to walk my dog, all the while they were “looking for a walker” and nobody ever showed up. Their “resolution” was to refund me for the walk that never happened only after my second time calling

I have used Wag about five times with success. And then: I booked two weeks ago for the week of Christmas break and had a walker not show up. My dogs were alone for over 12 hours. My vacation in another country was interrupted when I had to call a friend at 1:15am and ask them to go walk my dogs. I cannot trust Wag. They texted me more than two hours after the scheduled walk to tell me “we are still looking for a walker”. Wag left my dogs home alone for over 12 hours. Wag didn’t offer to send a professional walker to fix or offer to refund my previous payments. Wag has zero ethics. Wag is the worst business I have ever dealt with and I would rate 0 stars except that it wouldn’t let me write a review without giving a star.
