$25 for you to sign up after you go through the application process. No mention of this until you have sent emails to people in your life asking for references and filled out the entire get to know you sections and quizzes. Just mention this upfront

DONT USE WAG. I was a wag walker for 2 years and first off the walkers barely make any of the profit despite customers being charged a decent size fee. Second, I’ve used wag for both my dogs, each time with multiple issues. Today’s issue is officially the breaking point. My husband and I are 3 hours from home and scheduled a walk early this morning to ensure our fur babies got let out halfway through the day. It’s been THREE hours after the scheduled walk and still no walker. They’ve now been in the crate for over 12 hours. We’ve called 4 times each with no luck and customer service blaming us saying we probably cancelled when actually we got a text saying our walker never showed up. We are now cutting our little getaway a few hours short to make the 3 hour trip back home for our babies. This is ridiculous and customer support was extremely unhelpful. If you’re looking for a reliable dog walker, save yourself the headache and don’t EVER use wag.

Wag is completely indifferent to the health and welfare of the dogs under the care of a walker. A walker picked up my dog to walk her for an hour and when she returned she was limping badly. The walker claimed to not have noticed. I took the dog to the veterinarian and x-rays showed she had a torn CCL tendon. The CCL in a dog is comparable to the ACL in a human. According the veterinarian a torn CCL is considered a trauma injury. I provided WAG copies of all documents and the xrays were made available to Wag. Wag has denied all responsibility and considers the matter closed without even attempting to participate in the care of the dog. If you use this service keep in mind that if (when?) a walker has your dog WAG will not stand behind their service and the care for your injured dog will be completely on you. ***Update In response to the update from WAG. I have already discussed the matter privately with WAG to no avail so now all discussions will be public for my part. If WAG wants people to believe they stand by their service it's pretty reasonable to ask why WAG doesn't actually do that?

GARBAGE SERVICE. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR THE WALKERS‘ REVIEWS. We were away for a day and 2 different walkers canceled within 30 minutes of the scheduled walk. No warning no courtesy call and nothing from Wag about getting another walker... just a eff-off, you’re on your own. Thankfully our neighbor was home. The tricky thing is they don’t let you rate the walker when they cancel on you. They can still have a 5 star rating and leave you hanging 30 minutes before they were supposed to show. Total scam.

A week ago I had a wag walker come to my house to walk my two dogs. That night when I returned home, the side door was open and one of my dogs was GONE. It’s been a week and now the police are involved along with a private detective, and the case is being considered breaking and entering and theft. When I called to report it to wag the agent said “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” and that he would have someone call me back. NEVER HAPPENED. DO. NOT. TRUST. THIS. SERVICE. My best friend was stolen from me and they aren’t doing ANYTHING about it.

Dog Owners Beware! One of the certified wag walkers somehow injured my dog enough to where we had to have his eye removed and he has major bruising and swelling on the side of his face. Wag corporate is denying any responsibility for it and have been completely uncompassionate and horribly rude about the situation… It’s like they could care less about what it happened to him!!!... I have tried a dozen times to speak with a supervisor or management but NO-ONE has returned my calls!!! I’ve spent $1k’s and not a respectful person in sight! SHAME ON WAG!

We have been using Wag! For about 4 months since we adopted our pup. We have tried booking a walk about once a week during this time period and 95% of our walkers will cancel last minute. It is absurd that there is not a more strict policy around this. We leave for work in the morning under the impression that our dog will be let out to use the bathroom in the afternoon. When the walker cancels it means more time for her to be stuck inside and leaves us scrambling to find another walker. I understand that Wag! will look for another walker, and even if another one picks it up they can cancel 20 minutes later (which has happened on multiple occasions) leaving our pup stuck inside for that much longer!! How is this not more controlled from the company’s perspective??! It is outrageous and they need to implement a stricter policy so this type of thing will not keep happening to other dogs. For a company centered around dog health and happiness it blows my mind that they are OK with their walkers neglecting Dogs. We will never be using Wag! Again...
