I am a former walker for Wag. I loved animals, so I figured Wag would be a good fit for me. I did 2 walks in one day. And I was scheduled for my 3rd walk for the day. I always like to contact the pet owners to let them know how far I am. However, when I tried to message Dominica S, I had trouble. So, I tried reaching out to Wag, but was unsuccessful. Her notes clearly stated that the keys would be found under the bin, and that someone would be home. Once, I arrived at the door there was no keys under the bin, I even checked under the mat. So, I tried knocking on the door since she stated someone would be home, but no answer. So, I took pictures for proof and after being unable to contact her, I tried contacting Wag again and was unsuccessful. Hours later, I see a negative review from her stating that someone was home, that the door was unlocked, and that I didn’t try to contact her. Which is false. I tried to file a dispute and talk representatives, but no progress. I have been unable to get accepted for walks due to her negative review. I do no recommend using Wag at all.

If I could leave a negative review I would. Customer service is a joke. I’ve never seen customer service of a legit organization not have reliable service to the point that you can’t even hear the other person. I had a walker to cancel my walk and still charge for the walk even after she told me she cancelled the walk. Tried to get in touch with Wag and had the worst experience ever. I will be looking for local walkers from here on out. I am done.

I am getting a puppy soon so I thought I'd try way to arrange things ahead of time. You have to put on the profile where the key is before even hiring someone so I put something in there without hiding a key because the walk is a month away. I said it would be under a paint can. When I came home the paint cans were knocked over like someone was planning on robbing my house. I've messaged the walkers and they aren't replying. I let wag customer service know and I haven't heard back. I'm feeling uneasy about the service.

Very disappointed in every aspect of this service. It was difficult to get a needed schedule time, and I was charged for service that was never received. Still have received a refund, and I honestly do not expect to see one. There are other service providers out there that do a much better job.

I give WAG the poorest ratings. They randomly try and charge your card when you haven't booked anything in months. You cannot delete your card out of the profile. This has happened 3 times now within 5 month period. They claim they deleted my accounts to prevent this but yet they still Randomly will charge me. At this point it's fraud.

Horrible website design. Pop ups with no close button. You people should be in jail.

I'm a professional dog trainer in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and I applied to be a Wag! walker since I already spend much of my free time walking dogs at the local Humane Society - just as a volunteer - so I figured I might as well earn a few bucks for the same activity. Wag! made an error on my application and did not follow up with me to my satisfaction, so now I work as a walker/dogsitter for their competitor, Rover, instead. From my limited experience, Wag! seems not to be managed very well, and declines to take responsibility for anything. I like Rover very much, and I think the people at Rover are higher-quality than the kids at Wag!, but honestly, I would suggest using a family member, a small local business or a friend from your personal life to look after and walk your dog, if you need that sort of help. Local help just seems like the more trustworthy, sensible option. Personally, when I have to go away, I board my dogs with my veterinarian clinic. It costs more, but my dogs are my life, so the peace of mind is worth it, for me. Best to you and your furry families! Noah J. Cohen

Long story short I loved this app until one of the walkers locked my keys in my house and therefore locked me out of my house. Tried to get reimbursed for the locksmith I had to call. The person I was in contact with from wag told me she was unable to verify that I had received the locksmith services even though I was clearly l pled out of my house as well as sent her the invoice from the locksmith. About 3 weeks later I was charged for the “premium” subscription which I had forgotten I initiated before this incident. When I called to see if I could at least get that refunded I was told that it was none refundable. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told “they will tell you the same thing” so all in all that one walk cost me around $135 ***Update. After reading this review Wag reached out to me to issue a refund
