Wag!Reviews of wagwalking.com

I work for wag and they are so cheap nobody is going to walk your dog for $5 unless you live on the same street as someone they need to stop with their failing prices because people just be canceling jobs when people dogs are stuck at home honestly with rover I can make my own price and I love it.

There have been numerous occasions in which our pre scheduled wag walk has been canceled last minute because the walker has failed to show. This is completely unacceptable when we rely on this pre scheduled (that has been booked at least several days in advanced) walk to let our dog out while at home for an extended period of time. I have yet to be compensated for these walks that have been canceled, I have only received a message saying sorry they could not find a walker. Totally unacceptable and unreliable service seeing it has happened multiple times!!

Could not have asked for a worse experience with Wag. My girlfriend and I were trying to do the right thing when we signed up our dog, Hank, to be walked by a Wag! walker a few times a week when we were planning on working late. He had 4 solid walks with great walkers, but on our 5th scheduled walk, our walker mistakenly dropped our house key (which should not have been in her possession other than to open the house) which our (puppy at the time) dog Hank snatched up and swallowed within seconds. It cost $2000 to get the key out of Hank's stomach via endoscopic procedure at our local vet, $0 of which Wag agreed to pay. Instead, they led myself and our wag walker on a wild goose chase of calling and confirming with Wag Corporate to ultimately determine that it would be the responsibility of our walker to reimburse us for the entirety of the vet bill. Absolutely disgusting and horrible treatment of customers AND employees in one swift act. Do NOT trust your dog with this horrible, corrupt, greedy company that will not even reimburse customers for hospital bills for your pets incurred by their so-called employees! -0 stars if I could! -Riley, Dallas, TX

I was very disappointed. Both occasions when I booked a dog walker The time well exceeded what I was told. One I booked a day in advance. I relied on that because I was not home, then I had to scramble to find someone to let the dogs out.

I have used wag for some time for walking and pet sitting. The past few walks I have tried to book have either taken over an hour to get a walker to arrive or I can’t get a walker at all. I’m located in a heavily populated and dog friendly area. This seems asinine that getting a walk is so impossible.

Wag! Customer service and reconciliation for customers is the worst. I live in the center of Los Angeles and it’s impossible to get a walker any day or time of the week.I’ve tried over a dozen times to find one at all times of the day and week, and nothing. They don’t even respond to my request unless I reach out to customer service. I have almost $500 in walker credits and have asked for a refund due to the lack of walkers and ability to actually use the services but their response is “it’s the cost you pay for having an animal - here’s our 100page policy you agreed to”. I would LOVE to use the service, I’m 8 months pregnant and desperately need it, but if they can’t deliver on the 1 basic service of the company they should not be in business.

I was surprised to get this request for a review, because I never got a response to my booking attempt. I eventually assumed that nobody was available, but it would have been nice to hear that from Wag in a timely way.

I’m not one to say zero stars, but here we are. I honestly want wag to be sued because they are so horrific and what I experienced tonight. The majority of the honest walkers are incredible. But the company itself. I was charged 7 times for 3 walks ($202) on vacation might I add as a college student. So not much money in the first place. The people I think I can rely on (wag) has now fraudulently drained my bank account. I requested a walk and was charge for the original request, then wag attempted to charge me a second time for it but my account didn’t have enough funds so they canceled my walk that was once confirmed. (This is when I checked my bank statement and saw the list of 7 wag transactions) The customer service rep wouldn’t do anything to help me until I put my card information into their system. Did they not have it when they charged me an extra 4 times? They were more concerned about my money when I was more concerned about my LIVING BREATHING ANIMAL that needed to be cared for by the people I relied on while I was away. It is now 2:30am and I have finally found my own back up for the company that is supposed to be doing this for people. Wag is a sad excuse to use honest dog walkers and screw them out of their hard worked for money. It’s like Uber eats and DoorDash taking all the fees and benefits but giving the actual people working hard nothing. All they care about is your money and how they can charge you as many times as possible without actually providing you with any services. FRAUDD
