Wag itself is easy and convenient to use. It is wonderful to have such a thing in this time. The walker who helped us was a very sweet and kind person and took good care of the dogs. I did however noticed that she did not read the dogs profiles which have specific instructions or the extra note that Wag had pop up just before the walk was to start. It was a note for the walker to apparently be able to see before entering my house. I have older dogs so to me it was important that my notes be communicated to the walker for the best experience possible. I also realize that not everybody reads instructions and that is not something that reflects on Wag as a company. Like I said my dogs were cared for and nothing went wrong necessarily. It would just be my preference to have someone who reads all of the notes and adheres to any special instructions.

I am mostly happy with the service from Wag. Our latest walk was the first time in a very long time, and also the first since we moved to a new area. It went perfectly. I took off a star because there have been issues in the past with walkers repeatedly canceling last minute. This was in the old neighborhood. However, I did just come across another interesting issue, and that is that when you request pet parent match for a boarding you only have a certain number of hours to choose from whoever has responded in that amount of time before you are automatically assigned to the first person. Not cool. I did not want that first person, so I had to cancel the booking and re-post it. Hopefully the hold on my credit card is properly released from the first request. Still, I continue to use them because it’s mostly good.

This is by far the easier ap. You can simply put in your request and someone who is available will answer as opposed to reaching out to each individual and waiting waiting if they will respond. I have had great success with all walker. My only star reduction from this ap being perfect is you cannot change your location. In other words if vacationing somewhere and need to find walkers in that area. It’s impossible unless you call in and they reset your entire profile location. It’s a PAIN! If you never leave your address with your pet this would be a non issue.

I like the idea that I can track my dog’s walk and activities. Lisa is excellent with Bitsy. She’s punctual. She already giving us ideas on how to get Bitsy to cooperate.

The service provided is great. The website is a bit odd at first go. It was easier to put my walk needs out for the general community and see who responded. It did not work for me to select particular dog walkers or try to contact or message them. Also it gave me a 10 mile radius for looking for walkers and I wanted to change that distance and the website would not allow me to do that. Once on a walk, my walker was tracked and showed me everything my dog did. I really liked that. I also saw the timing of the walk.

I typically have great experiences with Wag! There was one time my walker cancelled last minute and they could not find another - hopefully that is an edge case. Otherwise have had reliable walkers who provide detailed report cards.

The Service is easy to use and simplistic.

The map is often thrown off and accurate tracking can be unusual.
