My first time using Wag, I booked a walk for 11am. The walker was late because she was on Eastern time - 11am EST. I was told by support that I may want to make sure the time zones are correct. THAT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY. Today (8/17), after trying to confirm an 11am walk time with my walker, she cancelled literally at 11am. I am currently trying to find someone to walk my dog, and unfortunately, this is because I am 0/2 with the Wag service. I know this isn't the fault of the person reading this, but it defeats the purpose of using Wag if I have to take time out of work to find a walker. I've only been charged for one completed (late) walk and fees for cancelling the service HOURS in advance. I don't seem to be recouping any money when someone that's signed up on your site cancels literally the minute I need them to walk my dog. Hope someone can contact me to resolve this ASAP. 847-400-7012.

I'm wondering if this company really exists at all. I contacted them twice, once last winter and once yesterday. On both occasions, I needed someone to walk my dog because of bad weather, and gave at least 24 hours notice. I had the same experience both times also: they were not able to find anyone to do the job, but they didn't let me know at all until the very last minute this morning. If I'd known that there would be no option at all with them I would've been able to contact one of the many many other services available in this area. Of course, they held on to my credit card information for all the months that I have not used them--for billing purposes, they were completely on top of that. A big disappointment.

Hi Cathy, thank you for the review. Wag! can not guarantee that a Pet Caregiver will always be available for a specific date and time. We recommend booking as far in advance for the best chances of finding a Pet Caregiver who is available. We appreciate your feedback and will ensure that it is passed along to the appropriate team.

2nd visit schedule walker never showed up no communication. No accountability. I still had a credit hold for visit. Customer service is lackluster. No thanks

Hi Pam, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the negative experience. Pet Caregivers are encouraged to only submit a replacement request in the event of an emergency and are held accountable for their reliability. If you were delighted with one of your Pet Caregivers in the past and if you would like to chat and book with her directly, you may do so through the "Past Caregivers" tab within your app. We appreciate your valued feedback and it will be passed along to the appropriate teams

Awful , terrible company not sure how or why they still have people working for them if you have an emergency and need a cover for a walk they will suspend your account for 2-3 days sometimes even WEEKS

Hi Whitney, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. While there may be rare occasions where you need a cover, repeated use of this capability or calling Support to request a cover may affect your cancellation rating (which is part of your Pet Parent Favorability). High cover rates may negatively impact the way Pet Parents rate you and may affect your ability to request new opportunities. If you are unable to request opportunities due to frequent cover requests, try again in 24 hours. Covers submitted during or after this 24 hour period may result in an impact to your ability to request opportunities for up to two weeks. Please visit help.wagwalking.com if any questions may arise.

Absolutely horrible experience. They charged me an extra $192 for four nights because I asked if the pet sitter could feed my two cats. Literally just feed them. That's it. I had tried to add the two cats before I booked the listing but the only animal you can add is a dog. My issue though is that they waited and on the last day when I closed out the job they charged me without any prior notification. When I called they told me they called me and left a message earlier that day (I tripled checked, they didn't.) They told me they emailed me after they called (I checked all my emails, they didn't.) And then they told me that the pet caregiver complained which is why they charged me. I reached out to her only to find out that they called her inquiring about the cats an hour before I closed the listing. She never complained. Yet another lie. If I would have known of these charges I would have had my neighbor feed them like I originally planned, but since the pet caregiver was stopping in a few times a day anyway I figured it would just be easier to have her do it if she was willing. And then I left a $60 tip to show my appreciation. Little did I know that twenty minutes later I was going to be charged an extra $192 without any notification that they would be doing so. So four nights and $418.99 later I've come to the conclusion that they obviously have no issue stealing peoples money and still being able to sleep at night. I will never use this service again, and I advise that you don't either. You simply can not trust them with your card information. It's beyond appalling.

I used wag to book a sitting to watch my dog and two cats while on vacation. When I booked there was no way to add the cats so I put it in the description for the services needed. The booking was confirmed 2 weeks ahead of time. I confirmed of the cats would be an issue, No issue. The last day when I was charged for the four nights of sitting, they charged an extra $192 to feed the cats. They said they called and left a message. They did not. They said they emailed. They did not. They also said that the caregiver reached out to them and complained, I confirmed and have proof that that was also a lie, they reached out to her. If I knew four nights of sitting would have cost me $418.99 I would have immediately reverted back to my other plan. (My next door neighbor who offered) But this was a blindsight at the end when there was nothing I could do. I wish I could steal people’s hard earned money and go to bed with not a care in the world. I’m disgusted.

I was just look up what dog has most bite force of dogs, when I came to a statement that wag! Gave, they say English mastiff is number three and they’re 100% wrong the cane corse is number three with 700 psi. Do not trust a dog site that doest know anything about dogs it’s not that hard to look it up. They really need to do their reach search before starting a business about dogs.
