This company must not be ran or owned in the United States of America. It forces you to link a debit card to your account in order to find a dog walker. I have had my account for almost one month now they were unable to find me a dog walker within the first two weeks. I requested my account to be canceled About two weeks ago and still to this day my account is not canceled. As a customer you have zero ability to remove your financial information from your account as long as your account exists. In order for you to delete your debit card information their website forces you to first add a new one before you can remove that first one you added. That is theft by deception and is illegal especially considering the fact that no services have been agreed-upon. Just because you request a dog walker they don’t even give you the option to confirm that you want the dog walker they choose they choose one for you you have no say in it. I had some strange lady show up to my house 3 1/2 weeks after I requested a dog walker and after several weeks of wag app telling me they are unable to find somebody. There was no warning of this stranger coming to my house except approximately 30 minutes Before she arrived. I was driving home from work and was unable to look at my phone so I was not even aware that this person was going to be coming to my house. Every single time I have responded to the wag customer service email after I initiated the first email demanding my account to be deleted every single response has been from a different “human” and each of these people responding continue to ask me for the same information over and over again in which I have provided more than several times at this time. They continue to demand for my real name and my real email use on my account. I have given them that exact information. This time that I have most recently replied to them which was today I now took a screenshot of my wag account profile to show them I have been responding with my real name email phone number and address associated with my wag Account. If another person shows up to my house I will be calling the police and pressing trespassing charges And hopefully that person will then take the seriousness of my complaint back to wag also it may be wag will then take their customers serious. It sounds like they are going to End up facing legal consequences sooner than later. It is absolutely illegal to force a customer to keep their financial institution information on their account without an option to remove it from their account. Do not use the wag app. I have been using the Rover app since the same first week I started my wag app. I have had zero issues with Rover and Rover does not force you to keep a debit card on file they do not send anyone to your home you get to approve and consent to who you would like to be your dog walker as long as the other person agrees

My boyfriend who assists me walking our new reactive on the leash rescue shepherd mix had surgery on his back so I booked wags to assist me for the pup's long morning and early evening walks The first day both dog walkers were great and the dog really enjoyed both his walks. Today the walker scheduled for 8am did not show up till 9am. Since my pup really needed to go pooh at 8am my boyfriend had to come and assist me walking the dog who as usual pulled to chased, trucks and squrriels, possibly damaging my boyfriend's back. I have repeated tried to contact Wags and of as yet have received not reply. Terrible customer support and Shadow their dog walker should be fired.

It’s a mess! Walkers walk one dog instead of both. Cut walks short. App doesn’t work.

Disappointed that one person was confirmed to be coming to walk my dog, then at last minute said she was no longer coming. So my dog had to wait an additional hour before getting his walk, which was not how I set it up.

I paid for the premium membership because it was my first time using the service, which is supposed to match me with a high rated sitter. The sitter did not show up on time (I have a security camera and can tell). I called the sitter and messaged them in the app and they didn’t answer. After a half hour, I cancelled the booking and called customer service to help me get someone over there. They couldn’t get someone in less than 90 minutes. It was already an emergency because my elderly cat needs to be fed at a certain time, so I told them to forget it and to refund my membership. They wouldn’t refund it. I told them if they didn’t I wouldn’t use their service again, and they still wouldn’t, because they’re a scammy company that doesn’t really care about the well-being of pets or their owners. I’m sure there are lots of people who get lucky with good sitters and walkers on here, but when it’s bad it can be really bad. Do you want to take that gamble with your pet?

If you use this service, you should be ready to have the app say that you ordered a walk when you didn't, then charge you for a walk that you didn't order and they never provided. If the cost was any more, I would fight it. These guys are thieves.

Paid for an overnight sitter to feed, walk, and water my dog while I was away. Sitter canceled last minute, replacement canceled due to a flat, and the response from the company is "it happens." Do not use this service!

Too pricey n takes too long theyre customer service is almost non existant but the dog walkers are amazing and should really deserve better than how wag does them
