I used to walk for wag and let me tell you first of all there customer service reps are terrible they never resolve anything I got attacked by a neighbors client and had to call 911 and they did not care, secondly they do not pay much 10 dollars to drive 10 miles even after you set the app for you’re preferred mileage. Third they let owners walk all over the walkers and they do not set rules firmly or care about how the workers are treated. Most owners are very nice but I’ve had a few instances were You will go above and beyond for the owners and dogs and they simply rate you poorly which is not okay because our rating goes down for nothing.Wag reps don not care. Walkers are treated terribly

Had a bad caregiver who didn’t lock our front door and treated our dogs badly on camera, haven’t been able to report it to wag no matter where I look online. This person should not be caring for animals. Why can caregivers report us but we can’t report them?

They scam people, I was charged $75 because a dog walker requested to walk my dog and I ended up finding a cheaper option so I didn’t end up accepting her request so they charged me $75 for it. Absolutely obsurd. Sounds like they just don’t make enough money so they will get whatever they can, pretty sad

I was very upset to see a charge of 9.99 on my account. When I asked about it I was told I had signed up for Premium I would never have done that as none of the services were needed. I got it cancelled moving forward but very disappointed to have this charge. Check your settings. Payments and Promos don’t let this happen to you.

I can’t download the app as it’s not available in my country (phone registered in Canada even though is live in the US). The browser functionality is abysmal. I can’t specify entry instructions, after I book a walk I don’t get any confirmation and booked walks are not listed on my upcoming services calendar. Because of this I ended up accidentally double booking walks on some days and Wag told me I was not able to get a refund. On top of all this, I don’t receive any communications from my walker and there’s no number to call my walker listed on the browser. I’m left completely unsure whether or not my dog received a walk that day. Finally, contacting Wag customer service requires a ridiculous amount of jiu jitsu. Bottom line, don’t offer walking service booking using the browse if there isn’t functionality there to support it.

I would strongly advise against using wag! I’ve received multiple random charges on my account and customer support just tells me they “don’t know why”. I had a sitter booked and confirmed two months in advance. When my flight landed, I received a notification from Wag saying my “sitting was cancelled and there are no sitters available. Next time try booking further in advance.” It was a nightmare trying to using this service and customer support was even worse.

The wag app is a rip off. Just for a 30 minute walk I ended up paying $35. Nobody should have to pay $35 for a 30 minute dog walk. The wag app takes a big chunk of the payment almost half.

Because I’m not in a position to walk my five month old puppy, I decided to become a first time Wag user and schedule a dog walk today. No problem using the app to schedule the service. It was scheduled for 10:30 AM. By 10:40a when I had not heard from the Walker, I attempted to reach out to him. Brad was the assigned walker. I received no response. No notice that he was running late or needed to cancel. Left a message, and received no response. By 10:50 I contacted customer service and advised them of this issue. They resolved the issue by deactivating my account upon request. No attempt was made to retain my business by offering me another scheduled walker or a discount or free service. They were more than happy to honor my request to deactivate and told me they understood why. With numerous dog walking services/options available, I would think this company would provide better customer service. No wagging here.
