Took $118 for a service charge. Total on page showed me they'd charge $59 total then charged me $231 on my banking statement. Didn't even give me the opportunity to even accept or reject the caregiver. SCAMMER Edit: 03/08/23 to message below: B.S. never gave me the chance to pick anyone. I wanted to choose someone right in my area. Instead it auto matched me with someone where the location where they were from wouldn't Even show up. Just showed me a badge showing they covered 10 zipcodes. Like who cares? I only care if they're close to me.

Wag robbed me. Sneaky business practice lead wag to lock me into an annual subscription for $95.99!!!! On the same day they charged me I begged and pleaded for a refund expressing that I won't be using the membership and that I had not used it for a long while. I was meet with a robot of a person saying that they refuse to stop the pending charge. Customer service is abysmal.

The app's timeline indicated the progress falsely; and I had to walk twice as long in order for the walk to be complete. As one can expect, a company that takes a whopping 40% commission, should be better. No technical support option, no option to speak with anyone to correct any malfunction. Better spend your time and money on the far superior, Rover.com. Sincerely Disappointed.

Sitter ALISSON D did now show after confirming walking my dogs twice a day for 3 day weekend. She confirmed all the appointments and messaged me to confirm the appointments as well. Horrible. That’s dog abuse.

I was not given the options at booking like they specify so the automatically matched me with someone. I contacted them about the issue because it’s $100 to cancel and I told them my issue wasn’t resolved. After that I was still writing to the support person lent and he said sorry bye and left the chat.

Honestly very upset with them, they make you pay the non refundable background check and take over 3 months to still have no answers. I’ve used similar apps and never had issues. To make matters worse they send you 50+ emails a week trying to get you to book services but me, nor my friends, can get verified. Simply 0 stars

My dog was being boarded by someone that Wag connected me with. We were out of town for a week, and on day 4 he has some sort of an accident. I don't know what happened to him, because the young woman wrote me a message to say he jumped in a pond and was limping a little bit. She said that she was going to take him to the vet on the coming Monday, but he seemed fine. On Monday the vet took X-rays and concluded that he had damaged his CCL, and would need surgery. The young woman said that she would take care of the surgery, and not to worry about it. When I arrived home two days later she dropped him off at our home. He was filthy even though she said she had been giving him baths. He wouldn't stand up even to eat and was in a lot of pain. I took him into my vet in the morning and they confirmed the diagnosis for the CCL, until they were about to send him home. They took him out to go to the bathroom and he cried out in pain when they tried to support his belly with a splint to keep the weight off of his knee. The doctor realized that this pain could not be coming from the knee and went back to re-examine the x-ray. She determined that he may in fact have fractured vertebrae. This would later be confirmed by a specialist and my dog required spinal fusion surgery. If the accident was him jumping into a pond the probability of this occurring is very low. I tried for days to give her the benefit of the doubt, until I realized that she was a dishonest person. The story began to unravel and the details of her negligence in caring for my dog began to come to light. Wag says that they only contract with caregivers that have been vetted and are experienced and prepared to care for our animals. She was not. She demonstrated that not only in the lack of care and deceit about what happened, but also in her lack of communication about the discomfort and the accident itself. Wag is unwilling to take responsibility for this. They have informed me that they are like a bulletin board and they only connect care givers and pet owners (they also collect the payment, decide who gets what, control the communication which is only allowed in the app, and claim that they and their care givers are insured). There are most certainly good care givers in the network of Wag contractors. Wag needs to take responsibility for making certain they all are or at least that they have the support and resources necessary if something goes wrong. My dog is my best friend. He was neglected and I have to pay the $15k for putting him back together. ***Please take notice***

If there was a zero stars option, this is the rating I would give them. I am not one to write reviews, but if my feedback can save one person from a similar experience as mine, it will be worth it. They will nickel and dime you, the app is not user-friendly and if you do need any kind of support or assistance, don’t expect it.
