Maneuvering the app can be difficult but the service is excellent Update 2020 I met two amazing wag walkers who I ended up keeping in contact with when I go out of town they walk my dog. However there was an instance when neither of my usual walkers were available and a new Walker came to walk my dog. He was a puppy and I had a camera in my home unknown to the Walker. This new Walker yanked my dog by the throat to get him out of his crate and he cowered from the Walker in fear she dragged him by his collar across the floor. He tried to scramble away from her and he scratched her in the process . She reported to WAG that my dog attacked her and because he was a pit bull they originally believed and practically barred me from using the app and requested his vaccines numerous times over. When I tried to tell them he’s a puppy who was abused so that’s unlike him to attack anyone no one listened until I submitted the video . Then everyone tried to change the story but I already deleted the app and just texted the two walkers I had relationships with about what happened and they were completely shocked as well. They ended up stopping working for Wag and worked independently since they both have a list of clients that’s lived them including me . Please be careful and get a camera so you can see how your fur babies are treated

I have been using wag for a couple weeks now, with two different walkers. Up until now I have been pleased with the services and all around ease of scheduling, etc. Which is why I have given it 3 stars. But this past Thursday, I came home from work to find my dog had vomited all over the floor, which had clearly been due to eating human food outside during his walk earlier in the day, because the vomit was filled with human food chunks. He spent the rest of the evening having diarrhea and vomiting, and Friday seemed to be doing much better after withholding regular food and limiting water intake. But come Saturday, he was still having diarrhea, would barely even eat rice and chicken, and in the middle of the night threw up three times. I ended up taking him to the vet hospital today after finding blood in his diarrhea. Turns out he did in fact get very sick after eating whatever he ate off the ground during his walk, and now is on a series of antibiotics and other medications to get him feeling better. He also received a shot to help with the nausea. Of course, paying an unexpected $310 dollars out of pocked today was not very pleasing. But more importantly, my baby could have been worse. Either my walker was not paying enough attention to my dog to notice that he ate something (and a lot of it), or the walker did notice and just did not tell me. I am very upset by this. I will keep using Wag but ONLY because there is another walker that I have used who has been doing a great job with my pup, and who I have actually met. The other walker, I had not met. I am extremely bothered by this and feel that it needs to be addressed in some capacity.

We have had one bad experience with a wag walker, and I can't seem to get past it so I haven't been using Wag as often. I also feel as though I receive to many emails from Wag to use their services.

Overall, I like Wag as a product. I mean, any dog owner knows they love the assistance of someone walking their dog. It's great. However, there are times when the walkers are a lot later than expected, and when that happens customer service has not been cooperative or timely. For example, I will call and text their support line with no response... until after the walker shows up 30-45 minutes late. At that time, they don't compensate my lost time (I had to cancel a class because I was late).

Very convenient service, but I have had several bad experiences with walkers simply ignoring specific requests listed in our profile. Two of them took our dog around the block before she was fully vaccinated, when we specifically told them to walk with her in our backyard. A few others did not put her back in the playpen afterwards, and I came home to her roaming freely around the house... again, convenient service, but they need to vet their walkers more

Wag in theory is a great app and from what I know they are extremely careful in their hiring process. The walker and boarder I have used for my pup were both wonderful! Our boarder went above and beyond sending photos and videos throughout the weekend. Our walker was also great. Because this is a newer app I think there are bugs that need to get worked out. I have sometimes been reached out to by several people for the same request. You have to really stay on top of what has been promised so there is no miscommunication. Other than that I enjoy the app, the people.

I think the pricing is quite high for the service. Also, when a walker left my door unlocked - Wag did not offer any compensation. I like that walks are GPS tracked, walkers have the option to send video updates, and the customer service team is responsive.

Customer service is decent, sometimes unresponsive however. My dog has a lot of particularities some of my walkers neglect to follow them, so I wish I could make my network of walkers smaller, rather than just giving less than 5 star reviews. I wish there was incentive for walkers to say more than, "dog was good, would walk again". It would be nice to know in advance the first time you book a discount walk you're actually paying the full walk price and receiving credits. Overall, communication could be more effective
