The app has potential to be good but the follow up customer service is lacking. When you schedule a walk you are told that it will be confirmed in 45 mins. That IS NOT the case, a few times now I have set up a walk and no one arrived to walk my dog. If the walker cancels, there is no notification and you better hope you figure it out on your own.

Not reliable and hard to reach

It started out ok then the walkers either started showing up late or not at all! Customer Service did not seem to care about that. They may have lost a customer 😒

My first experience with Wag was great. Our first walker contacted me via text and left great notes. We booked again because we were so impressed by the first walker we thought they would all be that great! The second dog walker didn't leave our dog in the crate - so there was pee and poop everywhere (she is a puppy). The third time we used it the walker gave our puppy a whole bag of treats!! Why would you ever use a whole bag of treats on a puppy in a 30 minute time. Anyways our dog got sick and we will never use wag again. These people lack serious common sense with dogs.

I used to use Wag when I had long work days, 2-3 times a week. I had the same problem twice, and both times their customer service was nonexistent. Wag makes zero effort to rectify any concerns their customers have concerning the walkers and our dogs. I found a new service and have used them since my issues with Wag were brushed off and not taken seriously.

As of right now I’m not the happiest costumer. Very inconsistent and they are very quick to say sorry but will do nothing to keep me happy and using their service. Will only use if I’m in dyer need.

Wag walking, where do I begin. At first they were extremely attentive. I was able to communicate with a live person, set preferences with their help and learn more about how to use the app. Two weeks later... they removed my remaining credit (I received for being referred), had a no show walker, and alienated any chance of being used by my household ever again by telling my wife she wasn’t entitled to any credits (after they said she was) because we live at the same address. That may not sound like a big deal but rest assured she is a separate customer with her own agenda for walking our dogs. In a nut shell, she represented additional business but that wasn’t the point. When a business says they’re doing something (in writing) it loses all credibility by doing the exact opposite. Very bad first impression to their second, and far more lucrative customer in this household. Not smart business Bottom line, we really appreciate this type of service but have since moved onto other sources.

I had very high hopes for Wag because it's set up to be a great service. We had three free walks that I wanted to take advantage of over a busy weekend to see if we could use them regularly. The first walker, scheduled at 7pm, never showed up. The Wag customer service is definitely wonderful and they text you and keep you posted as they try to find a new walker once the planned walker doesn't show up after 30 minutes, but it took over an hour from the 7p booking time before a walker actually showed up. The following morning we had a walker scheduled at 8am that also didn't show. The backup walker was supposed to show up at 8:45 didn't show. I had to ask my neighbors to take care of my dog. All separate walkers who showed to have high ratings on the website. Very let down by these first two experiences. I am happy with Wag customer service - attentive, reliable, helpful, LOVE that a real person texts you - but I didn't sign up to test out how good their customer service was, I signed up for dog walkers to show up when I book them, who all have shown to not be reliable. I'm glad I figured this out during my initial free walks so that I didn't get this kind of experience when paying! Cancelling my third walk and not using them again.
