I am a regular dog walker with Rover and decided to try Wag as well. To my disappointment, they were asking caregivers to pay $50 for their own background check, demanding to have at least 5 referrals that confused people into paying money and downloading apps that wanted to track their movements (a couple of my sweet clients told me they ended up paying to leave me a referral - which I never would've asked if I knew they would be charged!), and then to top all of this off, Wag takes 40% of the earnings of the caregivers. This company should not be supported in any way. Choose Rover instead....way better company that this one

I obvious am not smart enough to use the app. I was charged for not canceling a job that nobody signed up for but was assigned to someone after 3 mins of no one replying. I would never ever allow a stranger whose profile I had not selected personally get near my dog. Ever.

twice now two different dog walkers left my apartment door unlocked. I have alerted WAG and no one has reached out to remedy the situation, acknowledge or apologize.

I asked a question about my dog pooping in his crate and basically they told me he wouldn't ever stop pooping in his crate! I asked for advice on stopping this and they basically told me it was impossible! Not what I asked for! They said it would be 24 hours, it was 4 days! I do not recommend. If you need an answered question ask your vet, not Wag!

I am very sick so got a dog walker for 9 am. At 9:33 (after I got locked out of chat), she cancelled the service on her end. Wag says they will find you another walker but by the time they do it is too late). I almost had a stroke last night and I had to get up and walk my dog. Wag charged me 30$ for the service and there is no way even in the help chat to get a refund. I am so so disappointed. Shame on whoever owns this company

I would highly recommend not using wag and here is why can you get lucky and meet someone who is amazing with your dogs yes of course I did but then came the one man who traumatized my dogs so bad they both hate men and one of dogs just now is terrified of everyone It’s so sad to see this …. I used wag off and on for like 6 months never had a problem then I get a man even though I put to let me pick my walker idk what went wrong I was at work and the next thing I know there’s a man on my camera going to walk my smaller dog Bunnie he just kinda walks in even though i left really good instructions like bunnie is still young she can be a little scared she needs to warm up he try’s to grab her right away and put a leash on proceeds to chase her and corner her she’s peeing all over the floor i’m texting him to leave my house and it’s fine his demeanor was weird he’s ignoring me but reading my messages because i can see them he then proceeded to spend 5 more mins chasing her i’m livid at this point i’m calling him and texting him to leave my home i’m calling wag finally he’s in my hallway and my camera there has two way talk and i’m like yelling I have called and texted you to leave my house she’s terrified of you chasing her leave or i’m calling the cops he leaves then comes BACK to my home days later and leaves a note and money on my door like here’s the money you paid me for the walk that didn’t work out he should have never came back to my home I don’t care how he felt but he was on a mission to prove to himself he could walk my dog and in that process traumatized her now she has anxiety and hates men for his selfish reasons of I don’t know what and ignoring my pleads to just leave it’s fine he damaged a perfectly happy puppy so find a dog walker that’s independent and don’t lose them

I really hate this company and I’ll do my best to gain as many haters I can. They don’t care about your pet or the pet walkers. I hope someone comes up with a better company. I am going to talk to a lawyer as well. I see that you all reply on a review how about the 140$ you stole from me? Or how about section 8 in your policy where we should legally dispute an issue. You guys ruined my life in 2019 when the pandemic happened fired me and never let me dispute a thing and now you just rehired me and fired me the next day before I could even set up my account But didn’t hesitate to take my 140$ for the pro account and also didn’t hesitate to take my 60$ to apply MY HEART IS LEGIT BROKEN

Michael O. supposedly "picked up" our dog and the app shows the walker "walking" our dog. Walker doesn't realize we have cameras and never picked up our dog because we can see our dog was home the entire time. Customer service was horrible on getting a refund as if we made up the story.
