I used Wag multiple times, usually signing up for an hour walk for my pup. Most times there were no problems however one day I was able to get off work early and went home while my pup was supposed to be on his walk. I got home with 20 minutes left in his walk to see the walker leaving my house and continued to run the GPS to make it look like she walked him to the hour mark. When I called Wag to talk about the discrepancy they argued with me for 30 minutes asking for me to send them a photo of the walk(after you close out of the walk you are unable to see the walk map again). Eventually I gave up and hung up on them...such a bad experience when I am putting my fur babies well being in someone else's hands(and pocket).

I can't seem to book the same walker, I've tried 3 separate times to book her and can't even though I select different times during the day as options. If I schedule a walker ahead of time rather than "asap", I don't get a report in the app and I can't view the walk as it's happening. If I choose "asap" I don't have that issue, I can see where they are walking live and get a report at the end. The app itself is EXTREMELY buggy as I described above and the website is AWFUL once you're logged into it as a paying customer. There's a couple of giant buttons across the screen and you can book a basic walk but that's it. it looks like a middle schooler built their membership section of their website. I wish I could include a screenshot, it's hard to describe. I also ran into an emergency last Friday and had trouble canceling the walk, I called wag and told them I was running to the hospital with my kid and it took 3 separate phone calls to cancel a walk. Overall they need to improve their app and their website, I should be able to cancel a walk within the app if I'm waiting 2-3hrs for someone to accept my request or if I have an emergency come up. The pros to this service - I do like the lock box they give you and the walkers I was able to book seemed very nice.

My walk was at 10:30 and my walker canceled at 10:45. It is past 12 and wag is still unable to find a walker while my dog is in her crate probably spoiling herself or in pain from avoiding to do so. I asked Wag over the phone for retribution and he only gave me 10 credits which does not even cover a whole walk and I had to be somewhat stern for it. I’m very upset with Wag for not following through in more ways than one.

Every time I have tried to use this app, I have had to contact customer support to resolve an app issue.

First walker was unreliable no showing and last minute text that she wouldn't be coming. Calling customer service is a joke. Reps all have poor English and never understood or resolve my issues. Twice i asked to speak with a supervisor and was told I would get a call back that never happened. You charge in I cancel less than 24 hours however your walkers can no-show or text within 30 minutes of schedule walk

They charge for everything which means they don't provide any basic amenities to your dog. They didn't even mention this to us until we toured the place after we boarded our dog. Not surprising our dog got kennel cough and was scared shitless of this place. Pros: you can drop off your dog any time. Cons: everything else.

Twice now there has been an issue with walkers being on time. The first time, the walker said there was a global issue with the app and were unable to open their schedule to get to my dog on time. The second time, Wag was unable to reach our scheduled walker. My dog's walk did not take place until over an hour after her walk was scheduled. I'm, also, disappointed in the lack of customer service that has followed there errs. We were warned about issues with Wag prior to trying them because of their inconsistency. We were fooled by the convenience of Wag. We have begun exploring other options available.

Very shady practices I call “bait and switch” they send you an offer with a discount for a walk with a walker “in the area” and a picture of your favorite walker - so you think that it is with that person - but it ISN'T! Very poor. They call and text and harass you while you are trying to work! I am so disappointed- it could be such s great service but I think maybe there are too many people involved and no one knows what is going on - just poorly run - too bad!
