I feel that Wag has fallen down on the job regarding my favorite dog walker Kathryn Frost. My dog Coco loves her she is professional and always on time. It has been 2 weeks now since she was removed and according to customer support with whom I have spoken many times Wag is working hard to get her back and was supposed to keep me posted I haven’t heard a word and if they can’t get her back in 2 weeks Shame on Wag. The app is great, in theory. However, in practice, the walkers are extremely unreliable. Twice I had walkers fail to show and had to leave work a half hour away to go let my dog out. Customer service's response was "they're independent contractors and we can't force them to work or for someone to cover for them." I also kept getting charged the full rate instead of the recurring rate because "they couldn't find anyone available for my requested times." Meanwhile, when I scheduled walks at that time every day they were always accepted--so I ended up paying 15% more than I should have.

I realized I was not receiving the discount for selecting walks every day for Bailey. When I contacted customer support I was given a lot of answers that didn't have anything to do with the issue. Finally had to do a screen shot of the offer for discount from the app to send to them. Still not sure if I am getting a discount, because their answers were convoluted, long and didn't make a whole lot of sense.

Company has a lot of kinks to work out. I've used a few walkers on different dates who never had an issue getting in the house with the wag lock box. Then with the last two walkers they have contacted me directly on how to get into my house. Seems fishy and unprofessional. I was also solicited a discounted walk for 50% off a walk. I signed up only to find they only do that for 30 min walks. I only book 20 mins walks and in the offer it wasnt disclosed it would be a 30 min (aka more expensive) walk. Not a good business practice to trick clients into spending more money. I also had to cancel a walk due to a booking error. The customer service line was polite but reassured me they contacted the walker so there would be no confusion. Unfortunately they didnt so the walker contacted me directly as they were en route to the house. I've also heard from another walker the company isnt the best with communications with their walkers so things get lost in translation all the time. I like the convenience of this service and the idea but there needs to be some improvements made before I book a walk again. That being said, stacy is a great walker.

Walkers are wonderful; the system is terrible. I had constant issues with scheduling.

My dogs walk are inconsistent with the time and walker.

I referred to my friend and he did a walk. I did not get the free walk as promised.

The only good I have to say is: Dog Walker Derek is AWESOME. Daisha supervisor GREAT. Other than these 2 the company has been HORRIBLE! 4 NO SHOWS. 3 meet and greet no shows. Cancellations without notifying me. They tried to charge me for me canceling when WAG screwed up and caused me to not go to work. I am a Firefighter and work 24 hour shifts. My fiancee had to go out if state for a family emergency. I NEEDED wag to help with walks for my SERVICE Dog. They were unorganized. Not professional. Also, while I was on the phone with customer service, a wag Walker showed up at my door to walk my service dog. The company had NO CLUE a Walker was here. I asked if they knew a dog walker was standing in my home talking to me and the company insisted that they did not have an employee at my residence. Rhe female Walker stated that her company made her feel unsafe if the hr did not know where she was. I ha e to agree with that person. How safe are the employees if the company does not know where their walkers are. I have been very displeased. I trust Dog Walker Derek and supervisor Daisha. Both amazing and great employees.
