Bad service, cannot be trusted.
Bad service, never on time. Today I had food missing from my refrigerator. Peppie's water dish was empty even though I instructed walker to fill it up. No longer want their service.

I requested a dog walk at 5:22pm and a walker came at 9:45pm! Almost 4.5 hours later. There was no apology or accountability from wag. They pride themselves on being an on-demand dog walking service like an UBER for dogs but they take 4.5 hours, in a city, not suburb, to fill a request and had the nerve to charge me and not apologize. I came home to urine on the floor. Unless you are booking WAY in advance, don't use this service because your dog won't get walked.

The worst decision I ever made signing up for this app. They have sent walkers to my door without me even opening the app and then charging me for them. They have over charged me multiple times, and only given me "credits" back. Most recently they charged me three different times for three walks I didn't ask for and told me to email the financial departments, I did and never got a response. I've called, texted and emailed NO RESPONSE!theu keep charging my card and I can't delete it off the app. NOT WORTH IT! I'm switching to Rover.

WAG notified me that my dog was lost 30 minutes after they came to my apartment. They claimed that she bolted from the door and then couldn't be found. Ultimately my pet was hit by a car, and the driver took her to the vet where I was then located via the micro chip information. WAG did nothing to help with her recovery and even charged me for the walk. I of course called in to have that credited but they are worthless and I would never use them again. My pet was in extreme danger and is lucky to be alive. They are incompetent for charging me for the walk where my pet was lost and then they never checked in on her again.

I'm writing because people should know how they actually treat your animals. I went out of the country and trust them to walk my dog in the evenings. Only to have to call in every day with problems. One of their walkers a girl named Tessa took a hammer to the lockbox. After that no one could get it to work. I called their customer service and they told me that's what they tell the walkers to do. Walker after Walker couldn't get in and they didn't do anything. They left my dog alone without food or water for 20 hours. I was about to call the ASPCA on them. THey finally told me they'll get a new lock box in 1 to 5 days. And why couldn't my my roommate let them in. He goes to school full time and works after. they finally get a new lock box to me overnight only to find out that one of the walkers had stolen the keys. Now I just got a call from one of the supervisors name Chris. Now he says he needs more information from me to determine whether or not they're even going to pay me back to change the lock. After everything they did which they knowledge This is how they treat you. Even when I came home my roommate told me I should never use Wag. I want everyone to know how they actually treat your dogs when things go wrong.

If I could give them a 0 I would. Love the idea, but you just can't trust their employees or their accountability. I came home to my dog bleeding in her crate. She received stitches 5 days prior on her abdomen, and I had stayed home from work for the first 4 days. I went back to work and told the walker that he's to only let her out to pee and she cannot go for a walk. I came home to find her bleeding, and found they went for a .53 mile walk. Wag denies responsibility saying I have no proof that they caused it. They also blamed me for booking a walk in the first place. Real nice, victim blaming. They took no responsibility, offered no assistance. I'm not sure what proof I can offer besides the vet bill for having to rush her to the hospital due to her excessive bleeding. I guess I needed to put her life and my concern aside and take excessive photos of the blood droplets on the floor. Thanks for nothing but stress, Wag.

Wag had a great idea when they started this service. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to pull it all together and provide a valuable, reliable, and worthwhile solution for dog parents. I have given this company more than enough chances to show they put their customers (both dogs + owners) first and they have let me down time and time again. I've given them the opportunity to right their wrongs but they just don't get it. They cancel my walks last minute and the struggle to find replacement walkers. They charge me for late walks, when the tardiness is their error. I ask for consistent walkers for my consistent schedule and they cancel walkers on me all the time. When I call customer service I get attitude. These guys don't know how to run a customer-centric business. Don't trust these goons to look after your pooches. It's not worth the trouble.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing w wag corporate. My walker, Nicole, was great! However, my building didn't provide keys for re-entry into my place as expected. Nor did Wag provide any advice to myself or my building staff as to how to use the lockbox. I spent $20 for a quick walk, $30 on a cab back, tipped $20 for the walkers inconvenience, and then Wag charged me an extra $30 for nothing!!! Wag is merely a referral service with no hopes of client retention nor any care for clients. They only provide texts with exclamation points, and don't really give a "@&$" hoot about their walkers or clients. Poor business practice and greed will prove their demise.
