I pre-paid for 1 year+ of service so I didn't have to be too active in maintaining the billing part of my personal projects. They respond by demanding ID verification days after I already made the payment. You should never do ID-based KYC with any company as they'll never delete it and will 100% leak or sell it eventually. They are selective fraudsters and scammers and nothing else. Service is also unreliable and downtime is to be expected regularly, based on my past experiences with them as a business client. I thought they were good enough for my personal stuff, but guess not. Probably lost hundreds of dollars as I doubt they'll refund it, not to mention to hours and hours setting stuff up. Use any of their competitors instead and save yourself the headache.

My server suspended without confirmation first!

I'm a Vultr Customer for years but now I can't reach them in the weekend. One of my servers is having a poor VPC (ping times of 5 to 40ms) to the other servers but no one at Vultr responds to a ticket. Very disappointed in their service. In the past it was good and responsive.

Don't attach your debit or credit card with this website, they will scam you, ask for extra verifications of your debit cards selfie with your photo identity and what not. Then will even ask why are you using this vps what is the purpose behind it completely scam.

Not only does Vultr require me to deposit at least $5, they do not accept debit cards. And their frontend is very unintuitive to use.

I wish I can give them 0 star, I have many websites running in their servers and they just droped me a message that my account is suspened but still charge from my paypal $100. It takes them a decide to answer the questions but very impolite way and not please my troubles even 1%. Also, they asked me for my ID card and my face near my ID card photo for what sake who knows, I feel like my information been stolen and still my troubles are there. They not really care about their customer's business and money. I just feel they want our information and our money, but don't care about us. Really horrible experience, I am out.

Stay away from these scam artists. Signed up for a trial as they had some interesting features I wanted to try. Found a $250 credit introductory offer that was successfully applied - until they withdrew it without notification and then expected payment for the services used. When questioned, they suggested they had detected that I wasn't actually a new customer so didn't qualify. I'd never heard of them, let alone used them before so I asked for the evidence, which doesn't seem to exist. They have made a vague suggestion that my credit card is associated with another account - which is a daft thing to say as I can easily prove I have no payment history with them. I suspect the reality is they withdrew the credits as I had a dispute with customer services over their somewhat lacking security practices and they decided I didn't deserve free credit (as it was just after this conversation that they were withdrawn). Shame really as security practices aside they had some unique selling points and I would have carried on using them. Lucky escape though I think - clearly not a reputable or moral company. Personally I would encourage you all to sign up for a trial account and use as much free credit as you can - just make sure they can't take payment when they withdraw the credits (I had to cancel my card to stop them being able to take payment).
