You're here to see if this is real. Fair. Here's the scoreboard: 37,236 units shipped, 4.8★ on Trustpilot, and most of these reviews are from people who were skeptical first too. What makes us different: small tool, serious power, runs on the Makita, Milwaukee, and DeWalt batteries you already own. We're a US & UK based team that obsesses over quality — every unit is vetted and QC'd before it ships. Backed by a 90-Day One-Pull Test Drive and a support team (Diane, Marielle, Kerbie) that actually fixes things fast. Read a few reviews below and you'll see the pattern.

I am having a terrible time getting a battery that will operate my Vortex Hause more than 2 minutes.
I didn’t have a battery so I went to “Lowes” and was quoted a price for a Dewalt 20Volt Battery & charger for $ 199. That would have my total cost for mytwo VortexHauss $. 550. This is rediclious.
I called Amazon -same Battery &Charger -$66.When I changed up the battery-ussage time 1:45 seconds
I called Amazon-they will send a new battery & charger. Problem-During charging battery would not lock into the charger.
If new battery & charger doesn’t work-I will ask for a refund.
Personally,I don’t believe the blower has enough power to work for me.
We shall see.
Thanks

I’ve been putting off writing a review…
I’ve been putting off writing a review until i had more time to test batteries.
The power of the unit does not match that of a standard Milwaukee blower. I thought maybe it was the older batteries i first tested it with but after purchasing a new M18 battery and getting the same weak results i have to say I am disappointed.
It is ok for minor cleanup needs such as in the shop for saw dust on a table or powertool.
But for my needs to blow out dog hair from inside my truck and drying a wet vehicle it just does not make the cut.
Back to the big bulky Milwaukee leaf blower for those tasks.

My coworker bought the Vortex Haus…
My coworker bought the Vortex Haus blower for drying his car. I had been using a large leaf blower to do the same and when he brought it in to work, I was impressed so i also bought one. Initially, it worked great - until it didnt. I’ve never had a dewalt battery completely die on me and not take a charge, until then - but i didnt know it was potentially the blower at the time. So, i bought a cheap “knockoff” online for 10x less the cost. Looks identical. Same mold. Name plate was the only difference besides the blade appearance. I used this for a bit until i saw them release the “mach”. This one, supposedly has safe guards to protect your batteries. So, i bought it. It’s been working great - but these absolutely do come from overseas and share similar molds to “knockoffs”. Even with maybe. A few more dollars in electronics, they’re grossly overpriced. My Chinese knockoff is still working with another battery (ive made sure to periodically check battery level). The Mach is nice, but i feel ripped off.
Update: I wanted to give VortexHaus the benefit of the doubt after they replied to my review. I reached out to them directly as asked and the immediate response i got basically asked me to tell them again what happened. After a few back and forth emails, they offered to reimburse me for my battery. Cool, so i thought. Then they asked me for my personal banking information. Account, routing, etc. how unconventional! I asked them if this was actually the case - and they double downed. I think this is ridiculous and makes me even more concerned that they are in fact a scammy company. They also offered for me to purchase another blower at the discounted reimbursement rate. No thanks.

Thank you for giving us a second shot, and for laying this out so clearly.
You're right on the first unit. Our earlier generations were built on an existing housing that other brands also used. That's why the knockoff you found looks identical. Losing a DeWalt pack you'd never had trouble with is not something you should have to absorb.
VortexHaus MACH is different. It's our own design (patent pending), with our own internals and battery-protection electronics. We built it because the earlier platform wasn't good enough. A look-alike shell is easy to copy. What you pay us for is what's inside, the testing behind it, and the support when something goes wrong.
On your old unit, I don't want you out of pocket for that battery.
Please email [email protected] with the subject line "Trustpilot – Brian battery" and your order number. I'll make it right personally.

Company doesn’t back there products
Company doesn’t back there products. 2 weeks ago I bought 2 of there units. Since then both of them destroyed 2 brand new Milwaukee Forge 8.0 batteries that are $300 each.
They since then came out with a new version of there blower.
They say sorry this happened and then offer to send me 1 of there new and improved unit.
Seriously. I bought 2 and both are junk.
Trying to give me 1 and have me buy another one. This is deceptive practice. And will be treated that way. This will be one of my many reviews left across all different sites as well as consumer reports and forwarding their emails to the Attorney General. Since they did not stand behind in their products, they sold me.

Chris, Arthur here – founder of VortexHaus.
Reading this makes me furious on your behalf. If our tool fried two of your brand new $300 Milwaukee Forge batteries, saying "sorry, here is one replacement blower" is a slap in the face.
You are 100% right to call this out, and I don't blame you one bit for wanting to take this to the Attorney General.
That support response was an embarrassment.
We don't just back our blowers; we have to back the damage they cause if they fail.
Here is how I am fixing this right now:
(1) We are cutting you a check for $600 to fully replace both of your damaged Milwaukee Forge 8.0 batteries. You shouldn't be out a single dime for our engineering failure.
(2) We will ship you TWO of our updated, redesigned units VortexHaus MACH at zero cost to replace both of the broken ones you bought.
(3) I am personally pulling the chat logs from the agent who tried to offer you a single "buy-one-get-one" fix. That is not how we do business, and our team is being retrained on property damage protocols today.
Please email [email protected] with the subject line:“Trustpilot – Chris Milwaukee Battery Damage” so my team can get your payout processed and your new units shipped immediately.
I am deeply sorry for the stress and the terrible support experience.I'll make it right for you

2 of 3 blowers have failed
Have three of the blowers. Two of the three are now broken units within a few months. The shaft of the impeller retainer breaks and the entire impeller slides back and makes contact with the protective screen on the back and totally melts it. One of the motors also blew, but probably from the sudden contact. At first customer service seemed very good, but then after 3 months of waiting, they only sent me one replacement unit because they couldn’t find another order. What kind of records do they keep? Still waiting on the 2nd replacement. I’m almost afraid to use the other unit, as I’m sure it will break as well. They are very powerful units, just need to stop making them on a 3d printer and make them more like a drill for $200.
Response from VortexHaus USSep 11, 2026
Jeremy, Arthur here – founder of VortexHaus.
Two out of three units failing with the exact same mechanical break is a systemic issue, not a fluke.
The impeller shaft sliding back and melting the screen means the retention mechanical design failed under heavy load.
Worse than that, making you wait 3 months just to hear "we lost your order records" is completely unacceptable.
You asked what kind of records we keep—clearly, in your case, terrible ones.
We migrated our logistics software recently, but that is our problem, not yours.
Here is the immediate plan to make this right:
(1) We will overnight your second replacement of a latest VortexHaus MACH unit immediately, no more waiting.
(2) We are replacing all three of your original units with our newer VortexHaus MACH. The new version built like a tank!
(3) I want our engineering team to inspect your broken units. We will provide a prepaid shipping label so you can send them back to us.
Please email [email protected] with the subject line:“Trustpilot – Jeremy B impeller failure & missing order”. The team has been briefed to bypass standard support queues and handle this immediately.–
Thank you for the chance to make it right for you! I more than happy to help.

Hi Eddie,
Thank you for your patience.
Your return request has been approved, and your return label has been issued. Please use the provided label to send the item back to us.
Once your return has been received and inspected by our warehouse, we will process your refund as soon as possible.
Please note that the return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund, and the remaining balance will be refunded to your original payment method.

After reviewing the product and the additional cost of the required battery, I have determined that this item is not a practical option for me. The battery alone costs nearly as much as the Vortex, which significantly changes the overall value of the purchase. See the reply email sent today too.
I understand that this product may work well for someone who already owns the compatible battery and charger. However, that is not the case for me, and purchasing those additional components would make the total cost considerably less attractive.
For this reason, I would like to return the item and request that you please provide me with a return shipping label and instructions for completing the return.
I am so disappointed.
Previous Review
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to receiving the return label. The marketing is very confusing, and I was under the impression that the battery I selected was included with the blower. It was not. I emailed immediately after placing the order, but was told I had to wait until delivery to address it.
It has now been 15 days, my card was charged immediately, and I still have not received the blower. There is also no clear way to speak with a real person, while I continue receiving emails from the company.
I can’t even review the product itself because I haven’t received it. So far, the ordering process and customer service have been extremely disappointing.
Response from VortexHaus USSep 11, 2026
Eddie, Arthur here – founder of VortexHaus.
Charging your card instantly, disappearing for 15 days, hiding behind automated emails, and leaving you with a paperweight because the battery wasn't included—this is a textbook definition of a terrible buying experience.
I completely understand your disappointment.
We designed the checkout to let users use their existing power tool batteries, but if the copy left you thinking a battery was in the box, then our operational fail.
Telling you "wait until it delivers to fix it" instead of correcting the order immediately is just lazy customer service.
Let’s get this sorted out right now:
(1) I will have a manager manually track down your shipment today. If it hasn't left our hub, we will upgrade it to overnight shipping. If it's lost, we will issue a full refund or send a new one via express.
(2) I will cover you the correct battery and charger add-on for free for the confusion and the 15-day ghosting. Choose any and send an invoice
(3) We are actively revising our checkout flow this week so it is 100% transparent about what is—and isn't—inside the box.
Please email [email protected] with the subject line:“Trustpilot – EddieSan missing blower & battery confusion”
Drop your order number there, and we will get a person on your case within the hour.
Thank you for the chance to make it right!

Ordered and had to wait over three…
Ordered and had to wait over three weeks for a “domestic” made product, seems very slow. Especially in the age of Amazon. When I ordered, I took advantage of a nominal discount so ended up purchasing the product for $178. This seemed high but deserved based upon the hype and reviews. When I finally received the product, I was disappointed to receive a cheaply built product, especially for the steep price. And without even a battery. I tested it and it did seem to work well but for the price, hardly justifiable. It actually felt like I was getting ripped off. Upon return, the process was cumbersome and to first be approved by their customer service team. The value seems incredibly poor and truly scammy, based upon the cheap feel and build. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

Matt, Arthur here – founder of VortexHaus.
Reading this, I completely get why you feel ripped off. Three big misses on our side: slow delivery, “domestic” expectations, and the value feeling way off for a tool that feels cheap in hand.
Here’s the reality and what we’re fixing:
- We are a US‑based brand with global manufacturing. You shouldn’t have to reverse‑engineer that from tracking or wait three weeks in 2026. We’re tightening our shipping timelines and copy so expectations match reality.
- The blower is intentionally light and simple by design (few parts, small housing) so our 55+ core customers can actually use it every day. That does not excuse you opening the box, picking it up, and thinking “this feels like a $40 plastic tool.” If it doesn’t feel worth what you paid, we haven’t done our job.
- Returns should feel like a straight path, not like you need to be “approved” for a refund. That’s a process problem on our side and we’re adjusting our CS scripts around cases like yours.
For you personally, this is what I’d like to do:
(1) Treat your case as a full “not as advertised / not worth the money” refund, no questions asked.
(2) Cover return shipping so you’re not paying to undo an experience you don’t trust.
(3) Use your review internally as a training example for when we need to simplify the path to “I’m not happy, take it back.”
Please email [email protected] with the subject line:
“Trustpilot – Matt Y value & return”
so the team can pull your order immediately and get this closed without more back‑and‑forth.
You shouldn’t have to work this hard to feel good about a $178 purchase. That’s on us to fix.

Still waiting for my order
I placed an order for the blower on July 24 and still have not received it. After three weeks the tracking number is only showing a label was created but no further progress!!
I have emailed Vortex Haus to see when I will receive my order and have gotten nothing but apologies and “rest assured we’re looking into this for you” as well as “I’ll coordinate directly with our logistics team to check the shipment with the carrier and find out what is causing the delay”
I’m hoping you can expedite this!
Response from VortexHaus USAug 24, 2026
Roger, Arthur here – founder of VortexHaus.
If I ordered a blower on July 24 and three weeks later my tracking still said “label created” with nothing moving, I’d be just as frustrated as you are. Getting the same “we’re looking into this” line on repeat makes it worse, not better.
Two problems on our side:
- A shipment that clearly stalled somewhere between label creation and hand‑off to the carrier.
- No one taking true ownership of your order end‑to‑end and giving you a clear “here’s what happens next” instead of status fluff.
Here’s how we’ll fix it for you:
(1) Treat your order as lost in transit if the package is not actively moving.
(2) Either:
- Express‑ship a replacement blower with fresh tracking, or
- Issue a fast refund if you’re done and don’t want to wait another day.
(3) Flag your ticket for priority so you don’t have to chase us again to get resolution.
Please email [email protected] with the subject line:
“Trustpilot – Roger delayed order”
so the team can jump straight to your case, confirm what happened with the carrier, and execute whichever option you prefer.
You shouldn’t be hoping we “maybe” expedite this; you should know exactly what’s happening and when. That responsibility is on us, not you.
