I worked in a machinist shop, now I'm unable to work due to back troubles, however I don't want to forget my standard and metric sizes from not doing it everyday

Just when i thought this was a good source for the hvac parts i needed for a project, i went ahead and made an order and set up time and date with client to complete the project Voomi sends a text that part of the order cannot be shipped via standard shipping and it requires a freight delivery and i would be hot worth an extra $270 or some dollars for the freight. Totally not cool because it didn't say that on the website while similar products did specify they would require a LTL carrier. While they offered to cancel the order and refund but this is not good business practice as this disrupted my schedule and now i have to tell the client more delays are needed while i find a replacement solution. Not cool Voomi and you've lost a client. I know that this may not effect anything because no one cares about customer service anymore but I'm just gonna be the Karen and hopefully it'll steer some people away from making the purchase from Voomi.

Hi Sergey, We’re very sorry for the frustration and disruption this caused to your project schedule. We understand that you placed the order expecting standard shipping based on the information shown on our website, only to later be advised that freight shipping was required at a significantly higher cost. We agree that shipping requirements and additional freight costs should be as clear as possible before an order is placed, especially when contractors are scheduling work around expected deliveries. We apologize that this was not clearly communicated on the product listing in your case. While we offered the option to cancel the order for a refund rather than proceed with the additional freight charge, we recognize that this does not make up for the time lost or the inconvenience of having to reschedule with your client. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will use your feedback to help improve how freight requirements are communicated on our listings. Best regards, Voomi Supply Team [email protected]
