I had my birth certificate stolen back in 2020, and vital records made it as easy as a touch of a button to get a copy of my California State birth certificate. Once I hit send, and made my payment I received my birth certificate about two months later. Thank you Vital Records for turning my stressors into promote corrective response.

The service was fairly easy to use, and it arrived in a reasonable amount of time. It would have been better if the entire process was electronic submission so you don’t have to mail the form in. It wasn’t clear after getting the notary service that I needed to print out and send in the form. Other than that it was good.

Unfortunately, the Health Department is presenting delays in its applications, due to accumulated applications, some offices were closed and others work with a lower volume of employees. Please, we ask for your understanding and hope that your certificate may arrive at any time. Hello, Tra. Thank you very much for getting in touch and leaving us a comment. I am very sorry that you were not happy with the service provided this time. The process required by the Health Department to obtain a Birth Certificate requires a study of the application but in many cases, the health department restricts certain requests for personal matters. They are internal protocols that the Health Department has of which we have no knowledge and control. Normally when they reject an application, they send an attached document explaining the reasons for the rejection. If not, we recommend that you contact the nearest vital records office so that you can obtain specific information on the reasons for rejection.
