If you are living in the state where the person on record was born, you will definitely get faster service by going to the state office but you will have to physically go there and spend time in line. With any online vital records service your application will have to be mail to the corresponding health department and each health department has its own processing time and state fees. Our service fees are one of the cheapest and include a fully prepared application, pre-paid shipping label filled with the best location for your case and a detailed notice to make sure your application will be completed without errors. Ordered birth certificate through vital records two weeks later all I got was an application for a birth certificate. Sent the application to health department and two weeks later I am still waiting for my birth certificate. Fast and convenient it is not. What a ripoff.
