The site works, but more than 5 euros for a resize of a picture is crazy.

Suspicious Phishing Emails after Purchase
I have applied for a China visa. While I have not received it yet, it seems like the online visa application accepted the photo. I am very satisfied with the experience . . . BUT . . . I noticed a one-star review that said that the company sells your credit card information. That didn't happen to me that I know of, but I did receive two phishing emails within two days of getting my photo. I am suspicious because I got TWO in two days, I have never had this type of email before, and I have not conducted any other transactions that would make me suspicious. Perhaps unfairly I am taking away two stars. If others have similar experiences, they need to write about them in their reviews.

Hello,
We're delighted that you've had a positive experience with our photo processing service. However, we're concerned about phishing emails you may have received. Regardless of the reason for their arrival, we want to assure you that we are not involved in any such activity. At Visafoto, we only collect necessary data, such as your photo and email address. Payment information is securely requested during the checkout. We process payments via Stripe which is the world leader in the card processing business. We use their payment widget on our web page and we don't get any card numbers, all card data goes directly to Stripe, bypassing us
To ensure Visafoto's legitimacy, here's a checklist you can refer to:
Visafoto's URL begins with "https://" instead of "http://", indicating a secure connection.
We provide a Privacy Policy outlining how we handle your data.
You can easily find reviews of Visafoto on third-party websites.
Since 2013, our service has operated without any data breaches. We prioritize the safety and security of our clients!
We also kindly request that you provide your order number so that we can inspect your case. Thank you!

disappointing and annoying
Visafoto's software can generate suitable photos, but based on experience, I estimate the probability that the requirements will be met at 50%. When contacting the service, you will receive prompt help to correct errors in the photo. However, the correction is also not carried out properly. Conclusion: Only with a lot of luck you can hope for correct photos.

Hello. We apologize for the late reply. Yes, we are editing photos for DV lottery since 2013. The photos processed on our site are checked according to all standards.
Please note that for a successful application, the original photo must conform to certain rules:
-You must look directly into the camera with a neutral facial expression
-No eyeglasses are allowed (even for vision)
-Headwear is only allowed for religious reasons
-The photo must be of good quality and evenly lit.
Visafoto will automatically adjust the size, format and background of the photo according to official requirements.

Didn't work for me despite the claimed 99.7% pass rate
Despite the '99.7% of the photos that we make are accepted by the authorities' statement on their website, mine was not accepted in the UAE. The source photo was very good, the generated photo by visafoto was good as well, it was just not accepted.
Contacted support who were a bit 'arsy' in their response trying to blame the source photo having shadows, but they ultimately provided a refund.
