Poor customer service
I saw this company advertised on Instagram. I did some research and they seemed reputable with good reviews. I was planning a New Orleans trip with friends. We all decided to use VIPTraveler. The offered a good deal for NOLA. That was the only plus. I never received my hotel confirmation despite email instructions telling me to wait 48-72 hours before booking a flight. I tried contacting their customer service with no response whatsoever. They had my money and they didn’t care to respond to me. Lucky I knew that the Waldorf had an exceptional customer service. I contacted their reservation manager directly who confirmed the hotel booking. Why didn’t this “travel company” bother helping me. I won’t be using them in the future. As of today, still no response from my inquiry.

I looked into what happened, and it appears there was an internal oversight on our end where your booking wasn't marked as confirmed in our system, even though the reservation itself had been made with the hotel. That's absolutely our mistake. I also wanted to mention that we don't have any record of receiving an email or phone call from you, as we would certainly have investigated this immediately had we known. Regardless, we understand how frustrating it must have been not having that confirmation before booking your flights. We're a small but hardworking team, and while we strive to get everything right, occasionally we do miss the mark. When that happens, our goal is always to make it right because we're built on repeat travelers and long-term relationships, not one-off bookings. I'm pleased the Waldorf was able to quickly confirm your reservation and that your booking was always secure, but I'm sorry we let you down on the communication side.
