I am extremely disappointed with the service at the VIP Pet Clinic inside the Haines City Tractor Supply. Last Saturday, I pre-registered before arriving and still waited for over two hours without ever being called to be seen. I assumed it was just an unusually busy day and decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened today. I pre-registered again, arrived as instructed, and have now been waiting for over two hours with no communication about when my pet will be seen. Pre-registration appears to have no value if customers are still left waiting for hours without updates or any indication of when they’ll be seen. If the clinic is overbooked or running significantly behind, customers deserve to be told instead of being left to wait indefinitely. After two nearly identical experiences, I will not be returning to this clinic. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to think twice before coming here if they value their time. There are other veterinary clinics that communicate better and respect their customers’ schedules I would like to give no stars but it’s not an option!

We visited the VIP Petcare Clinic at Tractor Supply in Port Charlotte on Sunday, July 12, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. I will gladly pay more to take my pets to a local veterinarian rather than return to this clinic. We checked in by responding to the text message at 3:00 p.m., as instructed, and were told we would receive another text when it was our turn. That text never came. After waiting for more than an hour, I went back into the store, only to be told that the texting system “doesn’t always work very well.” If the clinic relies on a text-based check-in system, it needs to be reliable. To make matters worse, I was later charged for a medication that I do not believe was provided. When I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, I waited more than 55 minutes just to speak with a representative. That level of customer support is unacceptable. The entire experience was disorganized and frustrating—from the unreliable check-in process and excessive wait time to the billing issue and poor customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic and will be taking my pets to a licensed veterinarian for future care.

if I could put a zero i would. DONT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE especially if they r squirmy, My 14 week old puppy was very excited and was wiggley instead of scruffing him to prevent him from moving they shoved the shot in his shoulder VIOLENTLY and HARSHLY while he was wailing and moving a lot. my puppy has not been able to lay on his left side since we got home and has been very lethargic, the lethargic part I expected but he cant even fully get comfortable because he is in so much pain and LIMPING. this service was not worth the 96 dollars i paid after the "coupon" since they where an hour late. I AM NEVER TAKING ANY OF MY PETS TO THE VET CLINICS

Went through online registration and was asked zero questions about any potential issues that could result in them refusing service for any reason. Went for a rabies update and was told they couldn’t do it for liability reasons because my dog has an issue history of seizures. Waited as a pre registered person waiting for text but found they took walk ins ahead of me. Sat for 2 1/2 hrs only to be told no. Found out there was a price discrepancy in person as opposed to online advertised price as well. From the other reviews I’ve read about animals not doing well after seeing them I may have dodged a bullet. Staff member Jack was rude and condescending. I wish I could post the staff’s pics with this post so others could share their experiences with them. Jack flat out said they don’t have liability insurance and thats disturbing as hell. Why would an employee even say something like that if there’s not an element of truth to it? A few simple questions during pre registration would have saved me time and money. Tractor Supply and every other business that works with these people should stop allowing this business to operate out of their locations, particularly if they’re underinsured as that just seems criminal that they can work on any animal anywhere. BUYERS BEWARE

I went to this clinic at a Tractor Supply in Idaho expecting low cost vaccines, same as the people I talked to while standing in line with for 2 hours. Instead, I walked out with a $115 bill for two cat vaccines, a fecal test I never asked for, and $7 in needle disposal fees. I handed the tech a paper listing the two vaccines I needed. In response, she presented two “package” options and verbally explained the difference as the rabies vaccine brand and duration. What she did not mention is that BOTH packages automatically include a fecal test whether you want one or not. Apparently you can buy the vaccines individually, but you’d only know that if you researched the website ahead of time. Their à la carte pricing is $38 for rabies and $53 for the 1 year FVRCP, totaling $91 before disposal fees. They do not even offer a 3 year FVRCP. For comparison, I called my regular vet afterward. A 3 year rabies and 3 year FVRCP there would have cost me $69 TOTAL with no needle disposal fees tacked on. So this “affordable” clinic charged me substantially more for shorter coverage than my regular vet. . Also, do not bring a cat. They are not set up for them, they don't see them often. I expected they’d give my cat his shot while he was in his carrier but they insisted on taking him out. So my cat ended up getting his vaccines in the women's restroom to avoid any risk of him getting loose and possibly out the store's automatic doors. Apparently the experience doesn’t end when you leave. Now I’m getting spam emails trying to sell me Rx products I never asked about and encouraging me to register the microchip my cat already had and already has registered.. The emails also say things like “your vet recommends and has preapproved” these products. One is an Rx based on cat weight. They never got an accurate weight for my cat. They weighed him in his kennel and never weighed the empty kennel. So it’s a little scary they’d be prescribing a weight-based Rx for him. Furthermore, this clinic did not perform a veterinary exam. They are not my vet. They give vaccines in a folding table setup inside a store. That is not remotely the same thing. Apparently their follow up marketing strategy is just throwing random pet related emails at people and hoping something sticks. The marketing emails don’t even include an unsubscribe link. This is not the genuinely low cost vaccine clinic experience these in-store events used to be. They market themselves as “affordable,” but in my case they charged significantly MORE than a regular vet while providing less coverage, then followed up by acting like they’re my ongoing veterinary provider while spamming me with irrelevant marketing emails.

Do not recommend! Pay attention to the many negative reviews! They have you pre register but it means nothing. The clinic was 2-4. I arrived 15 min early and got in line. The staff member proceeds to go down the line to ask if you pre registered and then proceeds to tell you to walk around the store and they will text when they are ready! First of all I'm not going to randomly walk around a tractor supply store for who knows how long. I'm sure the store does not appreciate this either, I asked the girl so people are going to get ahead of those waiting and she replied : yes, its to keep me from having 40 barking dogs and 40 talking/barking (not sure exactly what she said) in my face! Sounds like she may be in the wrong line of work! I asked again, so people are going to get ahead of us and again she said yes. Said the best thing to do is arrive at 2 p and wait in your car?? What Needless to say I left! Definitely need a new process and or new employees! I went to a clinic a few years ago and it was great. We all waited in line no problem.

I wish there was an option to leave zero stars... Went to the monthly walk-in clinic at Pet Supplies Plus in Beavercreek, Ohio Staff is very unprofessional and the vet and techs acted like they was afraid to touch my dog (a poodle). A few of the vet techs spoke to me like I was a preschooler, which I do not appreciate. While I was waiting, I witnessed the vet turn away 4 cats for appointments because they "hissed" at her (c'mon...they are cats that are in a strange environment! Any type of pet would be stressed) I also did not get all of the exams/tests in the package that I paid for. The vet just listened to my dog's heart; she did not check his ears, mouth, temperature or anything else. I do not consider that a "comprehensive" vet examination. I had a few questions for the vet as well but she never gave me a chance to ask them. My dog was anxious as well (he's a new rescue) and the vet was afraid to give him his shots and almost straight up refused to treat him because he was shaking and kept trying to walk away from the exam area. (The vet was very fearful-acting and unprofessional and she kept recommending for me to put my dog on sedatives in the future. I do NOT agree, as my dog did not growl, lunge, or snarl at anyone and never has.) Next she told me that he needed to get a booster shot in 4 weeks, however, she told me that she didn't want me to bring him back to the clinic (because apparently my dog now associates the vet (her) with stress and she doesn't want to "trigger" him and deal with all of that). So she told me that I need to go to another veterinarian in the future. I have NEVER seen a medical "professional" turn patients (or business) in the way that I have witnessed today. In short, I do NOT recommend this particular clinic to anyone. The vets and techs act like they are afraid to touch your pet, are not friendly, are not professional, and definitely not knowledgeable. This is a rare time where I am more than happy to take my business (and money) elsewhere.
