So far, this is an excellent product. I'm a former hairdresser who takes care of my hair very well. The price you pay for this is less than many shampoos a professional would suggest out of the salon. If you keep your bars protected and out of the water in the shower, they will last. I'm waiting to see exactly how long. I've been using it now for two weeks and I barely notice much of the bar is gone. I have long hair, to my lower back and it's medium in thickness just to give you an idea of what I'm working with here. After about 3 days of use, I noticed less hair falling out in the shower. I'll always do a hair swirly on the wall and then throw it away when I get out, so I can definitely see the difference in how much I'm swirling. It feels silky and smells great. I haven't had anyone tell me my hair smelled good in awhile.. and I didn't tell anyone I got new shampoo/conditioner either, but I've had 2 compliments in the last couple weeks. I'm going to try out a couple different ones next time and look forward to continuing to use these and see how the long term effects are. Thank you for bringing this to us and helping out the tribe at the same time.

I wish I could give this 10 stars. I’ve been a licensed hairdresser since 2005 and have tried every product under the sun, both drugstore and professional, $50 shampoos and co-washes, you name it. I’ve always had scalp issues, both dry and oily. I recently started using Viori in the citrus scent and my hair is soft, bouncy, shiny and after letting it air dry it looks like I used a blow dryer and round brush. I admit I’m lucky and I have pretty tame hair to begin with but I can imagine how other textures would react to this product and I think people would be pleasantly surprised. My scalp is calm and clear. When I first opened the box I thought the smell was overpowering and I was worried. However it’s actually light and fresh smelling and my boyfriend, who isn’t impressed by any perfume or fragrances, actually smelled my hair and said, “Mmm! Is that your new shampoo? It smells good.” I can count on one hand the number of times he’s said he liked a fragrance. I want to try the others next and I actually have Hidden Waterfall unopened. The bamboo holders are beautiful and functional (they drain and protect the bars from being wasted) and I love the mission behind these products. They don’t claim that the shampoo will absolutely prevent gray hair, but that the ingredients have been used for many years by the beautiful women of the Red Yao tribe who have little to no gray hair even as they age. This is compared to women in the tribe who don’t use this formula, meaning it may not be due to their diet or genetics but because of this formula. In my mind, it’s worth a shot and slowing/preventing grays would be a bonus for a product that already makes my hair look and feel amazing. Be sure to read their story and how they help (not exploit) the Red Yao women and give these a try.

First shampoo, much less a bar shampoo, that really made my hair feel softer, fuller, and less greasy after just one use. I use the citrus shampoo and conditioner and my hair has NEVER felt this good. Usually my hair starts feeling greasy and limp after half the day has gone by but now I can almost go two full days without it feeling that way! I’ve only been using it for a week!

As soon as I opened the package, it smelled Devine. The packaging is very attractive. I love that the product is sustainable and has an over all mission. My hair felt light and silky. I have thin hair, and not too much of it, so shampoos and conditioners are harsh on my hair and I lose a lot of it. I need to give this product more time to really show me what in can do. The first wash was very nice and invigorating. I couldn't believe how the shampoo lathers up so thick and Lush. Just a few rubs of the conditioner and it felt amazing. A little goes a long way with this product. I love it and can not wait to see the lasting effects if any. We need to trust that there are small companys out there trying to do good. We need to support them if we can afford it. I know that 16$ a bar is not something everyone can spend. But, it is deff worth it and something natural and new. The fact that they promote that thier product helps with grey hair is a little hard to believe. Maybe we are interpreting it wrong. If with a few grey hair and maybe help prevent more, I can see it helping. But, for those like me, that are genetically inclined to grey hair, I believe it will be harder to stop the growth of grey hair. There are dyes for that. I would like it to help me lose less hair and make it soft and silky with less frizz. These are my expectations of this product and hoping for the best. Already Love it!

I've only used the product twice and I am already hooked. However to be fair, I will leave an updated review after 3 months of use. Things that blew me away, 1) this company is tapping into remote places in the world to help others and bring back this ancient beauty secret. Claps for doing all the hard work and we just get to press a button and order it. 2) it is a clean product thank you 3) I noticed a difference in my hair day one and then second use I had no shedding from the wash - which is incredible 4) I really like the citrus smell - I think it could be a touch overpowering to some. I'm sensitive to smells and it didn't bother me. My husband kissed my head and complimented the scent so that cool. 5) my hair seemed healthier, softer but also thicker or possible. I didn't even use the conditioner bc I wanted max volume and to test out the shampoo solo. Honestly it worked brilliantly. Lets see how the conditioner works. I think it's too easy to get on our high horse and be so critical. These folks brought something unique and untapped give constructive criticism - no need to go overboard guys.

Update: I was fully refunded for my purchase. (Hidden waterfalls was thr scent) customer service advised they were planning an unscented version next month and I would not hesitate to try it. I appreciate their prompt attention...... Scent is so strong I immediately got a migraine and nausea upon opening. Never had a chance to use it. Wish I had. I'm giving 2 stars because customer service was immediately available but they were ridiculous. I explained I have a serious migraine and want to cancel subscription and they offered a lower price or longer between shipments. Really lacking compassion. I already have to pay for shipping back for a health harmful product.

Most amazing hair product I have ever bought! I have used this product for 2 weeks and my hair feels so soft and silky, better than ever. My hair felt so dry and frizzy after 2 kids and at 38 years old. I seriously will not use another product after this. The deciding factor for me was that the ingredients may encourage your natural color to regrow opposed to grays. For the price it was definitely worth a try. It has only been 2 weeks, so obviously you would not notice a difference in hair growth color. If it does then great. If not I don't even care because my hair feels so amazing!

Don't buy it if you expect it to prevent grey hairs which is what they market it for. It does nothing for grey hairs for me, I'm sure there are a lot more things needed to prevent them then just using natural ingredients from a tribe in China. The smell of the bar is super strong, you can smell it from the other room for the first few days. I emailed asking about their fragrances and they say it's 'natural enhancers' they use. The bar is of high quality though and you can get multiple use of it and it's pretty. Customer service is good as well. But yea they should just market it as a good bar shampoo instead of grey hair prevention.
