They lured me into opening a high interest 5.3% interest online account. I had to call to get the online to work. After two months still .00?? interest only. Called twice. They say I don't understand how interest works. I withdrew all my money and wrote to close the account. Had to call to close, can't do it online. They said it is $25 to close an account. So I told them they can keep the account because I will not deposit again. Beware!

I've had no issues with this bank, and they have phone customer service on Saturdays (as well as during the week). Over the last few years, they have provided a consistently high interest rate as well. When you initiate a transfer in from their website, there is a few day hold but if you initiate it from the external bank to Vio Bank, there is no hold.

I applied for a savings account online with this particular financial institution and was, ultimately, denied without a reason or explanation of why. It refused to release the reason(s) for denying the account application. I would NOT recommend this particular financial institution for any type of financial products or services.
