I purchased a lifetime subscription which they will no longer honor. This is their pitiful explanation to me as to why they will not honor it, "In the software industry, a lifetime license refers to the lifetime of the product, not the user. This interpretation is widely accepted and practiced. The lifetime license is valid as long as the product exists and is supported by the company." So basically, if they make a new product they can screw you over.

I have been a paying member for years. The upgrade fee is quite reasonable even for all of their products. I love using 4k Video downlaoder pro. It is easy, fast, high Quality and I now have the opportunity to try their other products as well.

4k VD should change their name to Zero Stars Downloader, because they are now pointless and useless. Instead of improving their unreliable downloading experience, they decided to restrict the free offering. DO NOT PAY for any premium service they offer you. Look at their other recent feedback, then go and find another service that offers better, unlimited downloading. This company is toast - and is now uninstalled from my equipment. Bye!

I've been using the Pro version for years, and it's even better now with the ability to save a whole playlist. Being a bit hard of hearing, I like the subtitle option, as well.

It's easy to use. It's free. Download quick and smooth. And no watermark on the downloaded clip.

Technically it works superbly. I used it mainly for saving music videos from YT. Almost never any problems. Fast and reliable. But in 2025 they decided to betray their customers. By discontinuing the software that we bought a LIFETIME license for. Lifetime seems to be surprisingly short sometimes. I understand they need money to continue. But releasing a 4K Video Downloader+ and making everyone pay again is not the way. Even though there are few alternatives I will not support this application anymore.

Complete Scam. I purchased the "lifetime Subscription" and it no longer works. They are forcing me to "upgrade" to their newest 4K downloader called 4K Downloader+ When I reached out to their customer service, they gave me the runaround and gaslit me by saying I did not know what I was talking about. This company is the freaking worst!
