4K Video Downloader stopped working on 18 September and has remained non‑functional ever since. I provided every diagnostic detail their support team requested — logs, screenshots, system information — yet the issue was never resolved. The failure coincided with a major change on YouTube’s side, and the software simply hasn’t been updated to cope with it. Reinstalling, resetting, and following all suggested steps made no difference. After days of waiting for a fix, I removed the software entirely and moved to a more reliable alternative that works immediately and consistently. It’s disappointing to see a previously dependable tool become unusable overnight, with no effective solution offered. My experience reflects a product that has not kept pace with essential platform changes, leaving users without a working service.

A terrific app for downloading anything on YouTube except YouTube movies. I can usually find the movie elsewhere and download it from there using this downloader. I've used it dozens of times and love it.
