Very personalized service. They try hard to understand my needs, they look out for fake profiles and they do an excellent job at first screening. The picture portfolio and assistance in writing a profile is frankly excellent. The daily briefings are great.

I found the concept VIDA uses to be interesting, especially after having used other matchmaking services without success. They put my profile out there on multiple sites, and although I had the most luck on one, I probably would not have tried that site without their recommending it. I met a girl on there and am now seeing her. Briona was very responsive to inputs and easy to work with. I didn't think the quality of the profile writing was great, but I am probably pickier than most in this regard. All in all, it was a positive experience and I would likely try it in the future if I found myself single again.

I liked my matchmaker, Kedi, almost immediately upon getting on the phone with her - our initial conversation was 2hrs 15 min.! I think the VIDA business model is interesting and they definitely generated good leads for dates - better than I do on my own. They got me on 4 additional apps and widened my pool of men. They helped with photos and to improve how my profile was written. The only criticisms I have are that there are additional fees you need to budget for - like paying for premium access on the dating apps - that they don’t mention initially, and also that the ghost writers sound very young and use some GenZ slang I would never use (I’m twice the age of the avg GenZer!). Otherwise they have gotten me very good results in 1 month.

It’s a new experience to me

My ex recommended Vida to me. I had been opposed to online dating, but decided to follow his recommendations. I found the process of establishing the profiles helpful and revealing to me (about me). I really clicked with my matchmaker Chante. She was helpful, supportive, funny and fun. She was also open and honest with me about the technical problems VIDA was having establishing my profiles on the actual platforms. I appreciated the support on the photos I submitted, though I knew I had submitted good ones. It's just nice to have a professional opinion. I agree with some of the other users on the unexpected delay from the time I signed up and had my long interview until I was actually 'live' on the recommended sites. This was due, I believe, to the technical problems they had with their software that allows them to access my profiles and begin the selecting and answering process. I thought they did a good job with the selections, though because of the initial delays, I had gotten into some selecting and responding on my own. They tell me that women get a lot more interest than men on online dating, so I guess that, and my nice profile and photos, created an absolute flood of men interested in me. I have nothing to compare it to, but it was overwhelming in a good way. Like another reviewer, I had paid a significant amount to another (not online) 'introduction' service that had the advantage of background checks for the potential matches, but they have produced next to nothing in over a year, and I had to plunk down the cash for a certain number of matches. No refunds or ability to pay in installments or monthly. Bottom line, I really needed Vida to jump into the world of online dating.

Simmy was attentive, considerate, thoughtful, and empathetic. Working with her has been a pleasure, and I have learned a lot from online dating. I look forward to getting better results with the team in the future!
