My daughter never received her dress for prom. The email correspondance said she would receive on or before April 5th and she never received it. We made it work with another dress, but still as of today we haven't received the dress. I have emailed concerning a refunded and haven't heard anything. It seems like this place is a scam.

Never received my dress after it was said delivered weeks ago

Absolutely terrible. Flat out didn't come in even though we emailed multiple times. The first time they asked for my measurements again and promised they'd rush it. Later said sorry it won't come. If I could give it a 0 I would DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

We ordered from this website for my daughter’s senior prom. My daughter fell inlove with the dress that was ADVERTISED. I ordered it with my daughters exact measurements (which were later confirmed at a boutique). The dress came in the day before her prom. It looked very cheap and the colors and shape of the top of the dress were not the same. Before my daughter tried it on I steamed it right side up and upside down to try and make it look better. As I was going over it I noticed it had marker on it as if a child took a purple marker to it. When my daughter tried it on, it was very clear it was not going to work. Her breast were falling out and just moving around in the dress, it only covered her nipples!! We had to quickly go to a boutique the morning of prom and spend a lot of money to try to finally get a dress. Vicki was not helpful and made excuses as to why this was ok, then would not return an email confirming a refund. I do not at all recommend ordering from this website. We paid $230 for a dress we wouldn’t consider in person with how cheap it was made. We probably would’ve had better luck ordering a dress off of SHEIN or Amazon.

UPDATE: I changed my star rating from 1 to 3 stars. On Jan 6th, 8-months after purchasing dress, we finally received a full refund of what we paid for the dress. We still lost out on the $47 we had paid to return the dress, however, since the dress came back to us, VickieDress told us to keep it. So we plan to donate the dress for prom this year. Would've given 4-stars, (minus 1-star for dress not fitting), but I had to take off another star for the time and hassle to receive the refund. I have to say I would've given 5-stars if the dress fit. because the dress is really gorgeous & well-made. ORIGINAL REVIEW of Jan. 4th, 2024: In April 2024, I received a gorgeous dress purchased for my daughter's Homecoming at vickidress.com. We had given exact measurements as instructed. The dress fit only in the mid section, but it was too big in the bust and way to long for her. My daughter couldn't wear it to her dance. Such a shame because the dress is beautiful & well-made. We followed all instructions on how to return dress & paid $47 to return via USPS on 4/26/24. We patiently waited for updates, understanding processing might take longer from USA to China. Trusting vickidress.com would honor the return since we paid to ship it back to them, but months went by without any word from them. I hadn't followed up with them as we had family illnesses during that period. On 11/2/24 (that's 6-months later), we received our unclaimed, mangled package (via mail) onto our porch. We immediately sent photos of the mangled box to vickidress.com showing all labels attached. The Labels with correct mailing address were still attached, but I don't read Chinese, so I don't understand the stickers that were placed on box, showing why box was returned. It was clearly not the wrong address, so why was it refused? This was their reply: vickidress Nov 17, 2024, 9:30 PM Hi I am sorry, We don't know why the package was returned. I can apply to the company to give you some compensation. You don't need to send the dress back. Thank you On Dec 18, 2024, I reached out to vickidress.com again, asking for updates. This was their reply: On Wed, Dec 18, 2024 at 8:40 PM vickidress wrote: Hello, We did not receive the package, it was detained by customs, so the package was returned, I will apply to the company to provide you with some compensation. You do not need to return the dress. Thank you! It's now Jan 4, 2025 and we have not received any compensation. We are out $215, including the $47 cost to ship the returned dress. I think they count on me giving up. Now I will need to spend my time sending reviews to any social media platforms I can to tell of our negative experience.

If I could give them 0 stars, I absolutely would! Their website explains a 13-15 day tailoring time and 3-8 day shipping time.... no problem.... until there was. I purchased the dress on February 11th and did not receive the dress until April 17th!! That is over 3 months of tailoring and shipping. Then, even after putting custom measurements, the dress was way too big and way too long. After contacting their company to request a refund and return, I was forced to pay $48 worth of shipping to send it back and was never refunded. About 5-6 days ago, the dress was sent back to me with no warning or reason.. 6 MONTHS LATER. I would never trust this company again and I truly hope the worst for them.

The dress was well made and fit perfectly to the measurements sent in!

Was skeptical at first, but we received great customer service and my daughter's prom dress was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Anytime we need a homecoming, prom, or wedding dress, we will be purchasing from Vickidress!
