Pros: Product arrived in a timely fashion and in tact. Purchase experience was easy. Cons: The reason I went to VetRxDirect is that I needed to purchase RenaVast for my cat who has Chronic Kidney Disease. I used to be able to purchase the product directly from the manufacturer. However, they changed their distribution channel to VetRxDirect. Although the current price increase of $2 is not a big deal, I am more concerned that VetRxDirect is indicating that this is a discounted rate and that the regular price will be $42. This is almost a 30% price increase!! I also do not like that I cannot pay through paypal (which I was able to do through the manufacturer). Since VetRxDirect is a new vendor for me, I would have been more comfortable paying with PayPal instead of handing over my credit card information to an unknown (at least to me) entity.

Ordered before and their shipping time frame has steadily increased. This time they "lost" the order and we had to call and find out where it was. There customer service team saved it by getting us everything by Monday, but my cat was without a med for 4 days because of the "lost order" and we ordered a full week before we ran out.

I was disappointed when I called for an early reorder due to spilling more than half the medicine on the floor due to the stopper coming out when I pulled the syringe out with the bottle still upside down. Then I had to go to my vet and get generic prednisolone liquid in pre-filled syringes (not my first choice for quality), to cover the time it took to ship the next bottle 6 days !!! Their should be instructions which notify you that the stopper is not fixed in the bottle but can be pulled out accidentally when withdrawing the syringe filled with medicine. The instruction should advise the person to turn the bottle parallel to the floor before pulling out the syringe and to hold the stopper in with a clean tissue when doing so. Not happy here. .

Ordering the product truly is easy, especially when one has ordered it before. My issues were twofold: 1. Once I submitted the order, there was no method for editing the doctor information that was listed. I found out right after I checked out, that I had chosen the wrong one. On other sites (e.g. Amazon), one can easily modify the info collected. I spent quite a bit of time trying to find this, only to give up. I then sent an email to customer support, which was responded to immediately the next day. 2. My vet said that he had indeed faxed the approval back, but it was not received, thus requiring us to first call to check the status, and then to have him re-fax. This next attempt was received. I'm happy with the products and they came super quick but after I bought one of the products I saw it for sale in Costco for less than half the price I paid. That's annoying!

I shouldn't have to wait 2 weeks for antibiotics that my pet needs bc of their poor customer service. Seriously rethinking ordering again.

My vet did not receive the first request for a prescription. I replied to YOUR email to have another request another Rx. It was not honored until I called the NEXT week for an update.
