I have a senior dachshund with seizer disorder and damaged liver from years on phenobarbital. When my vet changed my dog to Zonisimide, it was was over $200 for one month (at 2 pills a day). For his liver, the vet recommended Denamarin - which was almost $70 for a month. I love my animals and have always been able to care for them, and this medication was vital.
