The Happylights can be light intensive, but many of them have different light settings, or you can try adjusting the distance you are using it if you find it too bright. Hi Lucy, Thank you for your feedback! I'm so sorry to hear that the magnifier is not what you'd hoped for! The magnifier is 2.5 times magnification, but it does have a 5 times spot magnification lens. We also have a 30 day money back guarantee if you'd like to return your magnifier.
