I have found I do sleep better at night. I am not sure when you should see a difference in mood but I seem to notice a slight improvement. I have been using it for about two weeks for about thirty minutes a day on the highest level of brightness.

I received a very curt response when one of my packages went missing. I was shocked at the cold response as I was without a much needed light therapy for nearly a week, after my lamp suddenly shut off. I ordered bulbs, but when I finally got them, it was actually the lamp itself. Instead of dealing with Verilux after my experience, I ordered a new system from Amazon Prime, saved money and got it for much less! Won't be using the Verilux site anymore.

I love the upgraded, modern appearance of the Verilux lamp, which I’ve been using for 20+ years. The only reason I needed a new one was rear the ballast no longer worked in the old lamp from overuse. I let too much time lapse before getting the situation fixed, and my mood tumbled. I originally ordered a new light bulb, but that didn’t work. I knew nothing about ballasts, except in old fluorescent lighting. After losing two weeks of use time, I was told the ballast must be broken. This issue should be explained in all new lamps. I am somewhat upset, to say the least, about this oversight, on the part so VERILUX. I wish you would inform consumers in the future. I’ve lost time with my light therapy, my depression or Seasonal Affective Disorder returned before the issue was figured out properly, and productivity in my life was lost. I’m trying to regain the progress that I made and lost due to this terrible oversight.

I was a sceptic but I have to say... my compact size Happy Light really helps me. I have it at my desk at work and I pop it on for an hour in the morning. Very glad I purchased this product. Bought two more as gifts.

Great product, really helps relieve the strain on my eyes while sewing, crocheting, and jewelry making. Well made product...sturdy with an easily movable lamp stem. And I love having the additional plugins for my iPad and phone!
