I wish they had a zero star because that is what I d give them !! worse customer service at all times !! the calling center is even worse !! the location they have in Tintin falls NJ is disgusting !! rude receptionist and The physician is rude and is very bad at giving full information, to her patients are just dollars and that's it. They give miss guided information, zero communication skills, overall such a bad business, total waste of time, energy and money. They would make it so inconvenient for you in soooo many ways. I took a day off from work and drove a 1.5 to get to the clinic where they told me they did not retrieve my approval yet. WHere matter of fact it was approved but I had to waist 3 hrs at the clinic until things were resolved then I started my session. the next appointment they tell me there are are other issues where they only inform of that the day of my appointment, I just waisted a day off from work to hear that. They are so disorganized and messy, I m just so mad with them, do not recommend them at all !!!

First time visit. Music was so loud I had to wait outside the door and move several feet away. Even then I could hear their boom box. An inconsiderate disco environment.

I contacted Vein Clinics of America after seeing a commercial on tv. I had left my cell phone number and email address and received an email back confirming that they received my request and someone will be in contact with me. I answered the email and through several messages back and forth, someone, who I thought was from the company, scheduled my appointment and then asked for my personal information. Luckily I was at work and couldn’t answer the email right away. No more than an hour later I received a call from VCA. In speaking to the representative he said he didn’t know anything about the emails nor did they have an appointment scheduled for me. This raised a red flag for me. The person on the phone asked for my information as well and I said I prefer not to give him any information over the phone nor in emails and I would do it all at the doctors office. He said he understood and then put me into a three way conversation with the appointment person. We had a hard time hearing each other due to the excessive noise and laughter in their background. She asked me for my personal information and I declined. She said to give her my phone number because if the doctor doesn’t show up they can call me to reschedule. I told her that this isn’t acceptable practice and that there should be another doctor that would cover the patients. She said that doctors have emergencies and that there are natural disasters that may happen and they need to reach me in these instances. I understand emergencies but they still should have doctors oncall covering other doctors Incase of such emergencies. She had a quite a rude tone and attitude when I said that I needed to take the day off of work to come and if they cancel on me I lose a days pay. I asked her again if they had other doctors to cover or there was only one? Rude answers and time again. I felt this was another red flag so I told her that I am cancelling my appointment. She and the other rep on the line thought I hung up and they began to say nasty and negative things about me. I chimed in, to their surprise and let them know what I thought of them and how negatively they represented their company. If I could give them less then a star I would.

I’m having an issue with the billing office regarding payment from my most recent visit to the clinic. I’ve been going to VCA for the past 3 years and during this time I have had thousands of dollars of work done. In addition to the work done, I have also referred them patients. I’ve always paid my bills in a timely manner and never had a billing issue in the past. Until recently, my experience with the clinic has been extremely positive but I never had to deal with their customer service or lack of it. At my last visit on 5/10/2018 I asked the Front Desk Clerk (Rosario) and Office Manager (Tasha) for the total allowed amount for my visit. After Rosario discussed the coding with Tasha she told me that based on my deductible and the codes that they were billing I would need to pay $120.08. I paid the $120.08 and a week later I went to my BCBS account to check my EOB and saw the amount I was responsible for was much more than the $120.08 Rosario gave me. No one contacted me to explain the change I saw on the EOB so I had to call the office to find out what happened. When I called the office and asked for Tasha, Rosario told me that Tasha was busy and she would have to call me back. I never received a call back. Four days later I got a bill from their office in the amount of $291.56. I called again and I spoke to the corporate billing department. They were unable to help me and told me I needed to talk to the Office Manager. So I called the local office again and finally had the opportunity to speak with Tasha. I went through everything with Tasha and essentially her response was, “I’m sorry, she’s new.” I’ve been a loyal customer for almost three years so I expected my interaction with Tasha to be very different. It was also upsetting that this change was made and no one contacted me. I had to find out about this change because I checked my EOB. I was so unhappy with Tasha's response I took my complaint to their corporate office and the customer service there was not any better. I left a message and didn't hear back so I had to keep calling. When I finally spoke to someone they said they needed to speak with Veronica (the regional manager?) to get their side of the story. They never called back. I'm so fed up with the poor customer service I will never go back to them. I guess they don't care much about the lifetime value of a customer. I'm sure no one said anything to Dr. Schruefer but he's lost a customer/patient thanks to the poor customer service of Tasha and the VCA corporate staff. If you value customer service I would not go to VCA because the first time you have an issue you'll find out real fast how bad they are at it. I think they should consider getting some customer service training.

I went several weeks without hearing from anyone about when my procedure would be, then when I called them today I was told to come back in 3-6 months to have another scan done then I would be scheduled for my procedure, not at all happy with my experience and I WILL NOT be back

I had the best experience with all of the doctors, technicians, nurses and office staff. I have had about 10 procedures and every time they made me feel comfortable and I felt confident in what they were doing. I highly recommend Vein clinics of America to everyone I know.
