Not what I expected.
It wasn't what I expected. Number one, when you suddenly need a quick translation, you have to turn it on an wait for about 30 seconds for it to except your input. The moment has passed by that time. It doesn't pickup well with background noise. Basically it didn't work well for my application. I purchased three. One for two relatives so, while on vacation we could all chat in English and Spanish. It was to cumbersome and time consuming so we returned to Spanglish and body language. I wouldn't by them again.

Hello! We are sorry to hear that the device didn't provide you exactly what you needed. The turning-on time depends on whether your device was just sleeping or turned off. In the first case, the waiting time shouldn't be longer than a few seconds. If you had your device turned off, then in fact it could take up to 30 seconds to turn it on. For multilingual conversations, we recommend using the GroupChat feature, where multiple devices can be connected in one conversation. Using that feature makes it easier as you don't have to switch between languages, as every user has their language set on their devices.
