I would have given them 5 stars, but I had to wait a month for one of my purchases. I was getting ready to call and inquire; it showed up that day.

The mesh panels that we purchased through Van Dyke's weres high quality and competitively priced. One star is taken off because no installation instructions were provided.

I ordered a latch which was $27 and change. In the ordering process, I learned that shipping & handling was going to be $13 and change. I left word that this would be my first and last order because of the S & H charge. I got a nice note back, thanking me for pointing out the 'glitch' in their S & H program charges; they sent me the latch in an envelope with no S & H charges.

The caning products I have received from Van Dykes have been very good. But the last time I ordered, I was informed that you will no longer stock these items. So, I'm shopping for another source.

The product is very good for the price. I would have preferred a higher quality latch, but I need the same latch in 2 different sizes, in flat black. This was my only option. They have only been installed for about 1 month. They work perfectly so far. They are a bit light weight though. So, I will not be surprised if I have to replace them in a year or two.

I had an issue with part of the order being damaged. I talked to a number of customer service representatives who were all very helpful. The only issue was that when we were told that someone would get back to us within a certain time frame (e.g., 72 hours), each time we were the ones who had to call back to inquire about the status of the order. Eventually all items were received in good order. The representatives we talked to were all very pleasant. I would order from Van Dykes again.

Got the piano stool swivel hdwe ..low $ 40's but the one I wanted was not available ....$47ish. The cheaper one had a screw shaft that was less thick than the original. It looked cheap to me. It rocks when extended. Thank you , Hollie Malone
