DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE AND FRAUDULENT…
DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE AND FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE, POOR QUALITY AND DECEITFUL COMPANY!! When I tell you to stay FAR away from this company trust me. I wish I had googled this company before purchasing where I saw the hundreds of complaints against them, they were even on the news because of it! look up KITV news clip called "local oahu furniture co faces hundreds of customer complaints" can't submit links here. We received a couch where the wood structure that forms the base of the couch completely collapsed while I was holding my newborn and we are not overweight!! We almost were injured and not to mention the couch is completely broken. Now don’t be fooled by the fake deceptive “express 1 year manufacturer warranty” because it does NOT EXIST! They will not honor any warranties express or implied. They have a very well-oiled machine of fraudulently denying claims - what they do is the following: 1) they attempt to disassociate themselves from the manufacture and say oh it’s not actually us that offers the manufacturer’s warranty, it’s a third party manufacturer which we have nothing to do with (they are not allowed to do this by the way) and 2) they try to say that it is past the 14 day return policy period. FYI a remedy for damaged or defective goods supersedes any return policy. We are in the process of actually compiling evidence for a class action against this company as it turns out they have done this to so many customers! They sell defective goods and the 1 year manufacturing warranty is deceptive because they will not honor it, and even though all consumers in the US are covered under Implied warranty (which is the law in the US which states that (i) the sale of goods in this country comes automatically with the implied promise what your buying is free from defects (ii) fit for purpose (iii) last for a reasonable time (UCC Section 2-314 - Implied Warranty of Merchantability) So for example when you buy an oven it is implied it will heat your food and thus fit for purpose. Same with a couch, when the seller sells it to you, it comes with an implied promise that the couch can be sat on (its intended purpose) without injuring someone or collapsing Look at the UCC (Universal Commercial Code - which are the laws that govern sale of goods in the USA) Valyou will not honor their fake 1 year warranty nor acknowledge the US laws of implied warranty. HERE IS THE CRAZIEST PART: We discovered that in a chargeback claim with credit card company, their customer service fabricated fake evidence from their customer rep “Tess” pretending to message us for a solution to fabricate that they were tirelessly trying to reach out to us! There were no time stamps or anything and we were never sent these messages. In fact we have all the evidence showing we were the ones reaching out for a solution (almost daily) which they denied us every time. This is the lengths that they will go to deny a claim, they will actually commit fraud. Fabricating evidence in a claim is actually a criminal offense which when this all comes out, they could face criminal liability. It is so wild that they apparently have a fraud risk compliance expert but they are blatantly committing fraud. If you have had a similar experience, you can complain to the Federal Trade Commission and BBB, and also file a suit in small claims court or have an attorney review your case. But otherwise, do not fall for the deceit of this company they will not do what is right. Get in touch for any photos / help with how to report them. ORDER # VF9188

We regret that you feel this way towards our company. We are working with limited staff but we are doing the best we can to be available to our customers and tickets of conversation will prove that. According to the last note from our warranty team, dispute was filed therefore we can't take further action unless determination is made by the bank.
