I do a lot of research before large purchases, so I read probably hundreds of bad reviews of Valyou. Most of them center around shipping times, not receiving orders at all, or getting damaged items. Some people have waited months for product, and some reviews were questioning if the company is an outright scam. But because the product and price were so enticing, I decided to take the risk. I reasoned that if it didn't get delivered, I'd just do a chargeback on my card like so many others have commented. After placing my order, I was expecting to wait several weeks for shipping. Instead, it shipped within a week! I was still skeptical; there wasn't a tracking number (I think this is because the first part of shipping is freight). I thought maybe it was still going to take weeks to arrive. But a couple days later I got a text from their logistics department-- a REAL human being that responded to my replies, not just an automated message-- letting me know what day it was going to be delivered. Several reviews mention that delivery day came and went with no product, but in my case the estimated delivery day was dead-on. On the day of delivery, I received a tracking # email from the final-mile carrier (Cigo), and the tracking gave a very accurate ETA. The delivery guys even called me to let me know when they were 25 minutes away. When they arrived, the delivery men were really kind and carried the frame into my house even though I hadn't paid for White Glove delivery. My expectations were extremely low based on reviews, but even if I had normal expectations, Valyou and their shipping partners would have exceeded them. From order to delivery was about a week and a half and communication was great. I'm not sure if I didn't have issues because I ordered a very compact item (Charm Base bed frame), but I also have a feeling these issues were/are related to supply chain issues, especially because the company is in Hawaii (that's a long way to ship things by boat, folks) and there has been an incredible shortage of dockworkers over the past couple years. My advice to buyers is (based on other reviews) to prepare to wait a long time for delivery, but you may also be pleasantly surprised!

I absolutely love this company!! From start to finish the communication was 100% satisfied. We went to the grand opening on Saturday in LA ordered, delivered on Wednesday, we had one piece damaged text them they got to me so fast and Monday 10/24 we got our replacement 🙂❤️

Cameron and Cliff were very communicative, quick, and got my furniture where I needed it. Furniture looks beautiful and quality is great too.

I have been searching for a nice, comfortable and contemporary couch for a long time and I am so happy to finally have found one! And at a reasonable price - other couches the same style were almost twice as expensive, plus the manufacturer is from Hawaii! It makes me feel like I have a little bit of Hawaii in my home. At first I was a little disappointed with the promised delivery date of first week of November, but Valyou contacted me and was able to deliver it a few weeks earlier than expected. Thank you, Valyou furniture and to Cameron and Cliff for delivering the couch without any problems!
