UPDATE: My order number is #24962. Don't play innocent. You guys are such a shady company. I will literally shout it from the rooftops how scammy this 'business' is. Do. not. purchase. from. them. ORIGINAL: Weird company. They lied about when my couch would be shipped and delivered. When I followed up about my order and why it hadn't arrived (and why I didn't receive any update whatsoever) I was ignored. I looked online and discovered a bunch of reviews online saying Valyou is a scammy company and I immediately felt uneasy about my purchase with them. I didn't even want the couch at this point, and I didn't want to be associated with such a shady company. After EXPLICITLY asking for a refund via email because I didn't receive my item, this is the response I got: "I can see that your order is already allocated, we are just now waiting for the logistics to ship your order. Rest assured that you will receive an update with the tracking details." Like, really? No acknowledgment AT ALL that I just asked for my money back. Basically gave me no choice but to do a charge back. A few days later I get a call from my local port office that they have a couch for me. Honestly it's hilarious, I was CLEARLY told I would be notified when they shipped, so I could track my order status, but I wasn't. Long story short, I basically had to hound them and make a Karen of myself to get them to actually ship. Ridiculous.

Ordered dining chairs. One completely fell apart with my child sitting in it. They denied my warranty claim saying it was due to improper use. Against my better judgement, ordered a replacement. After weeks, contacted them, was informed chairs did not pass quality check and they had no expected date for getting them in stock. After going back and forth with customer service they offered to cancel the order and issue store credit. Items still not in stock months later. This seems to be a very common scam with them. They have good deals but poor quality and terrible customer support. *Edit* after agreeing to make an expression l exception to their store credit only policy, they said they were unable to refund my purchase and advised me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. So I'm still waiting to get my money back.

I ordered a sectional on the second of July. It is now November 21st. Surprisingly I received half of it in about a month but the remaining piece wasn't delivered I've gone back and forth with the worst customer service team for months on end. Eventually, they shipped the piece and it's been sitting in a warehouse an hour from my location since the 17th of October. They will not allow the third-party delivery service to deliver any items or allow pickup. The delivery service says they cannot do anything due to specific instructions from Valyou not to deliver any pieces, all they need is a confirmation from the company allowing me to pick it up. I've CC'd both companies in emails and all it requires from Valyou is for them to respond with the word "yes" they cannot do so due to "internal issues" They won't give any details or even explain why they can't respond yes to an email while they can type paragraphs essentially saying nothing but giving me a run around about how they have to follow guidelines. I've threatened lawsuits. This is the last piece I need for an interior design job and it's costing an exorbitant amount of money. I've checked their shipping manifests from their distributors in China and they have gone from about 40 a month back in May this year to 1-2 and sometimes 0 a month now. This company is getting out of the market with whatever they have managed to scam off of consumers. At this point, I'm now trying to get the third party to allow me to pick up the piece. They have a much better customer service team but they also cannot say anything besides "The vendor won't allow delivering or pickup" everything they have from the vendor is on hold. I'm debating whether or not the box actually exists with the correct piece inside. Don't even look at this company's website unless you want to experience months worth of headaches and frustration.

Update 3/2/23: how would you have found an order without my full name or email, my order number was VFM37648. It was cancelled and refunded as I have said in my review, I don’t need or want anything from your company, just trying to warn other people of your dubious business practice. Stop replying asking for order numbers to try and make negative reviews seem illegitimate or pretend you’ll actually do something with it. Avoid at all costs! Not sure if they actually have any furniture at all, even for those listed as in stock & ready to ship. We ordered a couch for our new house thinking it’ll arrive shortly after we move in based on the delivery date given on the website, alas it never did and we had to sit on the floor for three weeks… was lucky enough to get a refund, went to our local furniture store and got a set of couches delivered the next day. Valyou’s customer service will lie straight to your face about delivery times, and that is if you can reach anyone at all. Don’t buy from them!

You want my thoughts, you got it. Every part of this purchase from beginning to end has been a nightmare that I am still dealing with. I was very excited to get my loveseat having just moved into a new apartment - I had help from the sales assistant in the showroom to pick out the piece I wanted. I paid for it and asked it to be held until I was ready to have it delivered. A week or more later I called to set-up the delivery. I was told that I would receive an email and phone call letting me know the window of the time of delivery. I set it up for a Friday as that is the only day I have available. That week I received no email or notifications of the delivery. Friday came and still, no one had contacted me. The number for the store is an 800 # that has prompts to get to the stores in each respective area. I had no direct line to the store. I called repeatedly to try to get through to someone and when I finally did, I was told that they had no record of the delivery. It took many phone calls and emails to try to get to the bottom of this. Finally, 2 weeks later they were able to schedule delivery again. I purchased this loveseat with the understanding it would be installed. When it came in a box and they set it in my living area I told them this is not what I paid for and I wanted it returned - I was not accepting the delivery. I refused to sign for the loveseat and it was in the box and ready to go back on the truck..The delivery boy REFUSED to take it and left WITHOUT my signature. I finally had to hire someone to remove it from the box as I am currently disabled and cannot do it myself. Had I known the loveseat was not going to be installed I would not have purchased it in the first place. When I opened the box to set-up the loveseat I discovered it damaged. Two of the legs were deeply gouged despite being packaged and placed in the middle of cushions for protection. (Obviously damaged in manufacturing and yet still packaged with the loveseat) It also has a small tear in the fabric that I noticed immediately after removing it from the box. When I discovered the damage I asked for it to be refunded and removed. It has now been sitting in my space for over 2 weeks. I am still waiting for it to be removed. They have said they will remove the loveseat and will refund my money 7-14 days AFTER it is returned back to the warehouse. They are requiring me to put it back in the original box (which I still have, and am unable to do as it was cut away from the loveseat to remove it). The correspondence around this sale has been delivery. It has been mismanaged from day one. No follow-through, poor-to-no communication, rude staff and delivery personnel. I will NEVER purchase from Valyou again and will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. I have yet to receive a resolution of this issue. This has caused me much undue stress and frustration. I wish I would have never purchased from Valyou Furniture.

HORRIBLE experience from start to finish. I ordered my couch over a month ago and was told it was going to come on a specific date. As that date approached I realized I hadn't received a shipping confirmation yet. When I reached out I was told my couch wasn't going to come for another 3 months. I requested a cancellation (customer service had pushed as much as they could to get me to take store credit) and was told my cancellation was processing. It wasn't until 2 weeks later when I realized I never received a refund. I reached back out and was told me order was never even cancelled. Finally got it cancelled and they told me they cannot provide a refund as they are receiving an error while trying to process. Their solution was to have me dispute it with my bank. This is not a real company, real companies do not operate like this. AVOID so you don't get your money stolen like I did.

Based on the advertising I was expecting a bed frame comparable to the Thuma (I have one and love it). This frame (Charm 2.0) did not even come close. On opening the box and seeing the product I immediately repackaged the product and started the return process. The company has been very uncooperative in the return process. This is in addition to their failure to cancel the order for a second frame when they missed the delivery date by over a month. They take your month up front and they have yet to return any of it. The order was canceled several weeks ago. I am extremely unhappy with the customer service provided by this company.

Ordered a bed on Oct. 10th-the item on the web page showed "ships in 1-3 days". I have not received my order 1 month later, nor does the order indicate it has even left Las Vegas. Trying to contact the company is a nightmare. It is all automated bots, long hold times on phone only to get another automated voice. I really wanted the item I ordered and had waited months to order for when my house would be ready. The company would have done better being truthful on shipping because I would have ordered long ago and would not be leaving bad reviews for false advertising and abysmal customer service. Perhaps they should stick to brick and mortar stores and get off the internet. I am really thinking it is a scam of some sort. Update 11/14/22- The website still shows "1-3" days shipping for the exact item I ordered. It has been over a month since I ordered and PAID! The below response looks like their bot messages. The latest email I got is that they can't find an shipper and it will be 4-5 weeks to get shipped and are offering me Store Credit! Are you kidding me?!? My next step is to call Am Ex as well as submit a claim to the Better Business Bureau. Truly disappointing. Buyer beware for this on-line store
