RUN AWAY, DO NOT BUY, SCAM CITY. We ordered a couch in May of last year with a shipping estimate of a month. After it didn't arrive in that time, we received promise after promise from customer service that we would get our couch "within the next week." Well, that turned into four months. We never got the couch. When we tried to ask for a refund, they said no. They said their items are eligible for return within 14 business days of the PURCHASE DATE. We hadn't even received the couch yet but we were... out of time to return it? What? We contested the charge as fraudulent with our credit card company, Amex. Amex gave us our money back when Valyou would not, because that's what reputable businesses do. Valyou's customer service was extremely rude and gaslit us the entire way once we expressed dissatisfaction with not having our stuff for four months and not knowing when it would arrive. When we said we'd be contesting the charge with Amex, Valyou said that if we did that, they wouldn't even consider giving us store credit for a return (which was clearly not on the table if they never ship anything). Basically, run. I know that Feathers couch looks too good to be true - it is! These people have been exposed for fake reviews before and have screwed *at least* hundreds of people out of their money. A local paper in Kapolei did a report on it, and there is at least one lawsuit against the company for defrauding consumers. They must have been successful at scrubbing older bad reviews, because they disappear every few months it seems. The company has a working capital issue and is letting that cost fall on customers. This is the worst furniture company I've ever dealt with. Actually I've never had a problem buying furniture until Valyou. I've been waiting for a year! had to cancel my order last week. They never contacted me, not one time to update me on my order. I had to reach out every time and I got the same answer, it'll be another month. Then they said they tried to refund my money and it failed. I turn them over to my credit card company and they're going to take care of it. I never once got a sorry or anything from this ridiculous company. I would definitely recommend staying away from Valyou! Order# VFM49909

Placed an order for a Feathers sectional on 5/28/22, with a estimated delivery of 6/29/22. 9 Months later on 3/6/23, still no couch, and no delivery date. When I contacted them on 3/6/23, I was told "Upon checking, we still don't have a delivery date for your order. It will probably take a few more weeks but I can't provide an exact day at the moment". #VFM51498

They are refusing to refund me after purchasing a couch and 2 chairs NINE MONTHS AGO claiming they no longer work with the processing company and to dispute with my banking system. They were promising shipment dates and giving updates up until it was too late for me to dispute with my credit card company due to a 180 days from purchase limit to dispute a charge. I initially used m debit card to make my purchase and then they rejected it and made me pay with a credit card. I believe this shows they were attempting to rob me from the beginning. Shame on their poor business practices. They stole over $5000 from me.

Update 3/28/23: Still nothing. I have asked for a refund, a store credit or to have them ship something similar to what I had ordered. They say they can't do any of the above. What company can't issue a check, a store credit or ship a like product. They charged my credit card, never sent me my product, and won't return my money. They have several avenues to make this right but refuse to do anything. They keep trying to push it back on my credit card company knowing the time to dispute the charge has expired. Clearly illegal. I am preparing to file a law suit against them to get my money back. If anyone has had a similar experience and wants more information on this, please respond to my review. Update 3/13/23: Still no refund. They refuse to send a check. Do not buy from Valyou Furniture. They will charge your credit card, not ship your order, tell you they are going to send a refund check, keep telling you this until your ability to dispute the credit card charge has expired, and then tell you they can’t help you. Valyou Furniture is a scam. They will steal your money! Update 2/27/23: Valyou Furniture is now claiming they "don't send checks" so they have exhausted all options to help me. Seriously? They are choosing not to send me a check. Do you really want me to believe you have no ability to send money? This is criminal. Anyone working for Valyou Furniture should be ashamed of how they treat their customers! Of course they love saying "Aloha" and "Your Friend" every time they send me an email to tell me they have no interest in refunding me the money they stole from me. 2/26/23: Just like all the other reviews...never received my order and they won't send refund. Promised me a check until it was too late to involve credit card company and then said they are not able to refund me. They like to offer assistance by "helping to escalate with credit card company" or "we are having problems with a new refund process" but its all talk. If they truly wanted to help they would send me a check. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They are thieves!

We placed an order for an Armoire on Dec 9, 2021 and were told it will be a few months before it arrives. Date came and went, no cabinet. The promised it would be a few more months and on and on.. Here it is over 440 days later and no furniture, no refund, nothing. The keep telling us to dispute it but as everyone knows, those can only be done within 60 days of purchase. They will not do anything to help. Order number VFM30082 EDIT: Their reply about me checking their message keeps saying the same thing over and over again.. Dispute the charge is all they say. It CANNOT be disputed at this time being 440 days later. The time limit is 60 days from date of purchase but they delayed months at a time effectively taking us out of that window. March 3rd, 2023 still no refund.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE NOT HONEST!!!! I ordered furniture from this company in March 27, 2022 Order #VFM44071 with estimated delivery 4/3-4/16. They continuously pushed back delivery dates for more than 6 months, so I asked that my order be cancelled and money refunded. They finally cancelled my order and have given me excuses over and over again about refunding my money. I have over 30 emails trying to resolve this issue. PayPal and my credit card company have lodged complaints and attempted to get my +$5000.00 back for months. The 2 “refunds” sent to PayPal were not able to be processed because the funds were not available. They claim they have refunded to my credit card (see below response) but my credit card company does not show a refund. I will hire an attorney this week to file suit against this company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE NOT HONEST!!!! Wendy A

BUYER BEWARE - I had the same experience as many others on here. I ordered a bed frame in May 2022, when I found out the shipping was going to take 2+ months, I opted to cancel the order. At first they told me to expect a refund to my original payment method, after I didn't see that refund for a while, they told me they needed to write a check and mail it to me instead. After months of not receiving the check, they finally told me "their system can not do refunds" and I need to dispute the charge with my bank. But because the original transaction was more than 60 days in the past, there was nothing my bank could do. As a last resort, I asked for a store credit instead of the refund, and they told me "their system can't do store credits", and so I asked them to ship me the bed frame, and they said "they can't ship canceled orders" So they 100% stole $800 from me. It's a flat out lie that they can't do refunds or store credit. It's all a scam. I filed a complaint with the BBB and I'm going to take legal action as well. And just in case Valyou tries to reply with some BS "we'd love to help but we can't find your order number" my order number is VFM50140 Updated reply to Valyou: yes, we have been in communication, but your response is unacceptable. You scammed me by stringing me along for months, saying you will give me a refund for over 6 months! Finally you say you can’t process a refund and I should dispute with my bank. IT IS TOO LATE TO DISPUTE WITH THE BANK. This is your strategy to scam people. It’s outrageous for any company to have a refund policy and not have a way to process refunds. Relying on the bank to dispute charges as a process for refunds is not an acceptable business practice
