Great until T-Mobile bought them
For over 30 years, since my first bag phone, I was really happy with U.S. Cellular. Their phone service was great, their recent home high speed internet service was fast and reliable. But then, T-Mobile bought them out, and now everything is terrible. The spectacular internet speeds have completely gone to hell (Literally 5% or 1/20 of what I used to get), and tech support is worthless. When an AI says it can't solve your problem and will connect you to an agent? It actually connects you another AI! Update: I called them to cancel my internet service and was told my hold time would be 14 minutes and that I could request a callback, which I did. They called me back and the first thing they did was put me on hold. When I finally got to talk to a person? He told me he couldn't help me and had to to transfer me to their cancelation department. Estimated hold time? 20 minutes. Congratulations, U.S Cellular / T-Mobile. You lost a 30+ year customer. Cause I'm not just canceling my internet service now. I'm canceling ALL services I have with you.
