That said, we sincerely apologize for the length of time it took to complete the repair. Six months is longer than we aim for, and we understand how frustrating that must have been. Your feedback is important and helps us continue improving our service processes. Regarding your electric bill, solar systems are designed to offset usage, but they don’t always eliminate a bill entirely, especially with fixed utility charges or seasonal usage changes. Adding battery storage in the future can absolutely provide more energy independence and help you maximize the power you produce. Hi Fritz! Thank you for sharing. We’re glad to hear the installation itself went well, and we understand how frustrating it can feel to wait for the system to be turned on. After installation, there are still a few required steps before activation. We are currently working on an as-built permit so we can schedule the final inspection. Once the inspection is completed and approved, we’ll submit the results to the utility company and then await Permission to Operate (PTO). The system cannot be energized until all of these steps are finalized. We appreciate your patience as we work through these final requirements to ensure everything is compliant and approved for safe operation.
