Scam-like behaviour and automatic subscription for 1 year (900 dollars) without notifications and opt-in. UPDATE: They have come back to me and refunded my funds. I had to bring to their attention that what they were doing might have been considered illegal by FTC: Federal Trade Commission Act Section 5: Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices I am not sure if this was the reason they refunded me the funds or the fact that I have not engaged with their platform at all except for introducing my card details. I am still scared that they will charge me next month, even though I have cancelled my unwanted subscription instantly without using it. Please be careful with the auto-subscription.

I have been using Uplead quite a bit. I do find it a helpful tool but I am also finding that many names and info are not up to date. The other concern I have is when you import the data into (ZOHO). There are 2 issues I have. If I have a company name in Zoho and then add leads from Uplead it creates a whole new duplicate company name. Also none of the cell phone info gets imported so I have to do that manually

Update* Customer support reached out to me and offered a refund. It's a shame it took the review to actually get the money back. Hopefully in future they do better in this as the product isn't all that bad. Some out of date info but that's to be expected with such a far reaching database. Dreadful service, refused a refund for a month that I am not going to use, I originally tried to cancel a month ago, they just extended my trial instead and hoped I wouldn't notice the bill... very bad business practices, just use Apollo instead...

After the Post-Trial Period charge of annual fee and Refund issue, I have been in contact with UpLead's customer service. The Director of Customer Service, Dani, addressed my issues promptly. After some discussion, they have agreed to issue a full refund. I appreciate the company's readiness to resolve this matter and their willingness to engage with and listen to customer feedback. This response has significantly improved my perception of their customer service.
